In the late ‘90s, it’s very rare that you wouldn’t find me record shopping at 9-12 St. Annes Court. I would make a pilgrimage there every week and hope to pick up all the current anthems that were getting dropped at Escape From Samsara and Pendragon. If I was lucky, I would hear a sneak peak of the latest banger being written in the adjacent studio.
The in-house music produced there is without doubt my favourite of the UK scene at the time - the Acid Trance being pumped out by Choci and his various labels really epitomised the underground clubbing scene in London and was the soundtrack to the best days of my life...
Researching, sourcing, compiling and sequencing this mix has been a real labour of love for me and I hope you can hear that passion and admiration I have for the music come through in the mix.

Run by Zebedee and Lawrence, Organgrinder never had the name recognition of labels like Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, or Smitten, but it played a vital role in the scene’s ecosystem. Every label mattered! I've always loved their uncompromising, no-nonsense releases, so I thought it was time to shine a little spotlight on them. Enjoy!

Deltarune soon so I'm dropping some unreleased stuff. Here's a character that has existed from the start of this project. The main antagonist of ch6, THE SURGEANT. An old crazy coot from the looks of it but beneath his senile facade he is a cold and calculated general who's willing to keep the lightner and darkner war alive for as long as he still twitches and crackles with electricity. The twist was that he was a pure darkner and titan who once accompanied Gerson in his adventures through the bunker dark world that he opened. He lies still in his lighthouse waiting for the roaring so he may lead his troops into battle and fight along the king and queen of the titans. Maybe Ralsei can help. With a little persuasion that is.

I'm a DJ and producer that started spinning records back in 1998. I had the best days of my life in the London club scene at events such as Escape From Samsara, Pendragon, Trancentral and Frantic.
Over the years I have played alongside Lab4, Andy Farley, Mark EG, Chris Liberator, Sterling Moss, Beamish, Jace, Tara Reynolds, Ephexis and Alek Száhala. 
I also co-ran an event called Synthetic at Club 414 in Brixton during the early '00's.

At age 14 I started mixing happy hardcore before discovering to drum bass, and by 18 was stomping to acid techno at a free parties and Headcharge in the legendary Sheffield Arches.  Recently got back into mixing. If you're interested check out La Freidora Radio on Soundcloud, there's one of my mixes on there.

The Prodigy has always been my favourite live event, and recently, Ren’s music has really resonated with me. Come for the beats, stay for the obscure references and questionable life choices.
