La Vallée Électrique 2022 • Gëinst

Hello world, 

Let's continue together this musical adventure that has been going on for eight years now! 

Indeed, the first opus was released on June 1st, 2015, from a deep desire to support a pioneering and adventurous electronic music; without exhaustive stylistic limits, and which wanted to be at the same time experimental, deep, mixed and sincere. 

It then became obvious that it was necessary to reveal a music that would have as its only contours the inherent musical originality of each of these artists, regardless of their age, origin, orientation, experience, nationality, genre, recognition... 

Twenty six releases later, and despite many difficult moments, loneliness, variable echoes, tensions, doubts, the label still exists, and resists ephemeral fashions, in a discreet niche of enthusiasts from all over the world! It is therefore essential to thank you all today for having supported in one way or another this slightly crazy, human and fragile project, carried only by the love and passion of music. 

In order to celebrate this new step of the label, it is time to present our new release ACCENTLP005, signed by one of the key producers (both in the structural sense of the project, but also as a Light) our dear and beloved Gëinst! He alone is one of the reasons why this structure still exists, because each time I discovered his new tracks, I had so many emotions, that it was impossible not to react, to be silent in front of this pure and rare beauty. It is therefore normal and logical to release his first long format of six tracks, with solar and esoteric accents, where groove trance and deep techno flirt with softness, luminous and subtle, where finesse and elegance intertwine with relentless rhythms of strength and dynamism, Evangelion LP is an ode to joy, freedom and love! 

This album is a testimony to the strength of music, freed from the canons, rid of authoritative figures that have become monotonous and too conventional, become hybrid, fresh and above all FREE. <3

The album Pipiltzintzintli is conceived within a concept around the notion of psychedelia in electronic music elaborated in conjunction with hardware and modular systems where the repetitive motifs are chosen for their organic and cerebral aspect with the intention of seeking to act physically on the listener thanks to the sounds as active principles, as psychotropic. 

The idea within this album is to maintain a Techno approach but more minimalist, with a reduced use of percussive and/or melodic elements. 

It seeks to access a deeper sonic dimension, the inner self, a mental image like an imaginary, unconscious landscape. 

According to the artist, here is also an acid dimension to the album, with references to a whole section of the history of repetitive electronic music: Warp's pre-2000 period with LFO and the distinctive sound of early Plastikman are especially present here. 

The opus is completed by the unique touch of producer friends @geinst & @inerit who reinvent a track of their choice in their own way.

This season, synonymous with life and renewal, is the perfect time to launch this new opus in the ACCENTVA series, a deliberately eclectic and inclusive review of current developments on the electronic music scene. With a more generous format than ever before, it makes room for both well-known label producers and pioneering artists whose work criss-crosses the world with their unique and immediately identifiable sound. Nearly thirty artists have responded to the invitation and are brought together here to give us a glimpse into the prism of contemporary musical creation. Pioneer of the scene and the influential figure behind female:pressure, Electric Indigo composed for us a radiant breaky track, filled with dynamic energy and complex rhythms that showcase her unmatched skill and unique sound.

Through her track "Salema," Valody delivers bouncy, trippy, and groovy rhythms, creating a playful yet deep atmosphere.
