Polysynaptic Reflex Archestra - Applied DNA Sonifications in Nutrigenomics is a research-informed concept album exploring the translation of genetic data into musical structure, with particular focus on genes related to nutrition, metabolism, and metabolic health. The release formalizes earlier exploratory work in DNA sonification by treating genetic sequence patterns as compositional source material rather than purely algorithmic output. Musical elements such as melody, rhythm, repetition, and form are derived from structural features within gene sequences, including motif recurrence and sequence density, and developed through a hybrid process combining algorithmic mapping, instrumental performance, and compositional refinement. Stylistically, the album integrates symphonic approaches, jazz fusion, electroacoustic textures, and minimalistic processes. The project extends conceptual foundations introduced in earlier releases, positioning DNA sonification as an architectural framework for musical expression rather than a therapeutic or clinical application.

Over the years through the many projects/bands I’ve been involved in and privileged to work with, there has been a lot of ideas and concepts generated that were probably scrapped out, nearly forgotten or didn’t see any light of day either due to time constraints, funding, difficulty in finding the right musicians or like minded members for collaborating with on a project. Being a student of medicine and of the music & arts, I find myself leaning towards undertaking more conceptual and novel ideas of creative explorations and dynamic learning processes. I am primarily now a DIY solo artist integrating a wide array of digital/MIDI Instruments, DAW's & computational algorithms to achieve the overall sound and aesthetic qualities to streamline my passion projects.

The Cannabis Connection hosted by Christopher Carr provides stimulating conversation with professionals, regulators, researchers, and experts striving to demystify common misconceptions about Cannabis. Our radio broadcast educates and opens a dialogue surrounding the potential Cannabis has to heal ailments, but also our society from a social and economic standpoint.
