Insomnia is not just the absence of sleep, it is a territory, a space where the mind expands beyond vigilance and dreams. This album seems to have emerged from that place, the gap between the thought that tries to calm down and the impulse that insists on remaining intensely awake. ‘Insomnia’ is thus a map of the irreconcilable, a soundscape of controlled saturation and clarity, a kind of lucid surrender: the acceptance that wakefulness is, after all, a way of existence. The album moves through the unstable territories of restlessness, where thought accelerates without warning in sudden bursts of intensity and silence becomes a pressure rather than a refuge. collide with meticulously sculpted textures.
In summary, “Insomnia” distills free jazz into controlled volatility: unforeseen shifts, precise chaos, and meticulously shaped improvisation. The music inhabits the restless space between silence and eruption, where structure and freedom collide. It is the sound of wakefulness sharpened to its limits: intense, purposeful, and vividly alive.
