Genesis 3:15 — Simple Explanation
This verse is the first moment in scripture where God speaks about the ultimate defeat of evil. It’s written in symbolic language, so here’s the meaning in everyday terms:
• 	“The serpent” represents evil, deception, and anything that tries to pull people away from truth.
• 	“The woman’s seed” represents the lamb in revelation 12:1-5 — the people who choose truth, goodness, and alignment with God.
• 	“Bruise thy head” means evil will be defeated at its core.
• 	“Thou shalt bruise his heel” means evil can still cause harm, but only temporarily and not in a way that wins.
