God says "fear not" throughout the Bible, including in Isaiah 41. He means to comfort us, but those words have more purpose than that. He also means to free us from being controlled by fear, acting out on our fear with sinful and unhealthy responses to events that disrupt us. Instead, with true worship, we can look beyond the events to the one in control, God himself.

With the holiday season upon us, the curmudgeonly Grinch launches his master plan...with a deadly virus, he shall cancel Christmas, banishing all the holiday icons to a faraway land where they can't bring cheer to all the good children in the human world. Can one little troublemaker from Illinois be the key to bringing back the Christmas spirit?

Jesus Christ takes the role of Mettaton, though He is not some sort of egomaniacal host like the robot he replaces. A great deal of spotlight has been placed on Him as the star of the show, but he merely wants to spread morality and kindness...and is a little horrified to see the commodity that has been made out of his birthday.

My Father's Will Be Done

Jesus made the tough choice to follow through with the will of God and go to the cross. He chose it. It was hard, and he was afraid, but he chose it. The description we read in Luke 22:39-46 of the prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane shows that Jesus chose to die for us, chose to bear our sins for us, chose the will of the Father over his own fear. He relied on the Bible, and he sought the help of the Father through prayer. And along the way, we discover that he took the time to teach us how we too can make the tough choices.

Welcome to my Soundcloud page.  I am a songwriter, and not a performer or vocalist; so please don’t judge my songs exclusively by the vocal performance. I enjoy writing and listening to a variety of music - including rock, pop, country, americana and contemporary Christian.  Since I don’t target or limit myself to one genre, each song essentially tells me what style it will become as it comes to life.  The genre isn’t as important to me as the thought or feeling that drives the creative process.
  
I have put together a few playlists of similar styles/genres if you would like to browse in that manner.  I have also included three album length playlists:  'Love is Waiting' -  a mix of tempo and style that collectively speaks from the heart about loss, healing and restoration; 'I Give You My Heart' – which is a collection of Contemporary Christian songs sung by my wife; and 'At the Cross' – a collection of reflective songs focused entirely around the crucifixion event. 

I truly love the creative process of writing and arranging and letting some of my deeper thoughts and longings come out in this manner; and I hope that shows in the music.
