Five Stones Down the River is a slow, mournful folk-noir ballad from The Easter Knot, told from the perspective of the last man standing.
Each stone marks another man lost — to betrayal, to emotional destruction, to the quiet kind of cruelty that leaves no visible scars. The verses weave together shadows of past relationships, each ending wrapped in denial and rewritten history.
Built in the chiaroscuro tradition — rich textures, deep shadows, and a single burning light — the song moves like a river itself: steady, inevitable, and unstoppable.

In The River Takes Them All, The Easter Knot delivers a haunting story of love as a weapon. Three marriages, lovers lost to tragedy, and a pattern that never changes — manipulation, betrayal, and the slow drowning of trust.
The narrator has seen behind the mask: the dangerous seduction, the emotional cruelty, the parallel affairs kept in shadows. Every verse builds toward an unflinching hook — You pull them under, one by one… and swear it wasn’t you.

Minimal and tense in the beginning, the track rises into a cinematic climax with soaring strings and ghostly harmonies, before fading back into the silence of the river.

Emerging from a decade in shadow, Cindered Heart returns not as a solo act but as a rising coven of creators, collaborators, and conspirators. Together, they give blood to new genres like VampTrap and RockStep,  alongside brutal collision, showcasing many sides, and many different styles of music like dubstep, rock, metal and darkwave, with experimental offshoots in folk and reggae. This is not music made for market trends. It’s an audio doctrine where no church is sacred, no system safe, and no silence unscarred by rhythm.

Inspired by Appalachian folk harmonies, 80's synth soundtracks, and ghosts, the music of Artemisia is spaciously eerie, like meeting a lover in a haunted house. 

Selene Ross (vocals, ukulele, guitar, autoharp, dulcimer) and Alisa Rose (vocals, harp)first met in the Berkeley Hills in 2018 when they lived together in a witch house. They both had grown up singing in choirs in the Bay Area and were each in music projects in college–Selene in the DIY freak-folk scene in Santa Barbara, and Alisa in the percussion group BEATs at Tufts University. 
Singing together in their living room evolved into performing at house shows, local venues, and eventually they recorded a collection of songs in the Joshua Tree desert in early 2021, made possible by the gentle heart of Anthony Ferraro. In the summer of 2021 Ariel Wang joined them on violin.
