On March 2nd 2025 I had the immense privilege of DJ'ing the closing set in the Horden Pavilion for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Party.

“I made this mashup to open my set — to remind us why we’re here on the dance floor, It’s not about yesterday or tomorrow. It’s about feeling love, right now, in the moment”.

This mix is a combination of Joe Milner's version of Dreams We Dream, combined with the non-vocals version by Giorgio Moroder featuring the badass guitar riffs.

It's not a perfect mix, and actually it's my first full mix ever so there are some parts that are not that great, but for the most part it's pretty good I think. Either way I'm going to keep working on it, so any feedback is appreciated as I'll likely upload a V2 version of this that is better eventually. Enjoy!

Munich Machine  Introducing The Midnite Ladies was a Munich based German disco project under the direction of producer Giorgio Moroder. Madeline Bell, Sue Glover, Sunny Leslie (The Midnite Ladies) were the great vocalists on this Classic Disco Masterpiece, Munich Machine was active from 1976 to 1980. The producers Pete Bellotte, Günther Moll and Gary Unwin as well as the bassist Stefan Wissnet, the guitarist Mats Björklund and the American singer Chris Bennett were also involved.The greatest success is Get on the Funk Train from the album Munich Machine from 1977. I do not own the rights to this song , I remixed it and gave it some more bass and enhanced vocals and sounds  for listening pleasure only, and mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece .....Giorgio Moroder at his best as usual........ Big Dipper Horse Ride

This song was written by Donna Summer for the play Ordinary Girl.The "begin again" aspect of the song refers to this major life change, where she was able to move past her destructive past and start a new chapter grounded in her religious beliefs. Summer was working for years on an autobiographical stage musical also called Ordinary Girl. She described it as a "contheatre," a hybrid of a concert and a theatrical performance that would feature both new songs and reworked hits. I reworked it for a dance feel and mean no disrespect to the original version.

Simone Sello is a guitarist, music composer/producer, surrealist filmmaker, and journalist, known for his work with the Sanremo Festival Orchestra, Billy Sheehan, Aaron Carter, Disney, Hannah Montana, Vasco Rossi, and Warren Cuccurullo.

After studying the violin, he started a professional career as a guitarist in his native Rome (Italy), recording the song “The Fighter” with his band Waterfall, for the compilation Metal Attack (RCA 1987). Then he kept working as a session musician both live and in the studio. 

In 1997, he moved to Los Angeles, where he began working with a wide range of artists and contributing to many music projects. He quickly gained a reputation for his technical proficiency and unique playing style, which blends various musical genres.

Sello has also collaborated with major entertainment companies such as Disney: he has worked on several projects with pop superstar Miley Cyrus, including the hit song "Nobody's Perfect" and the soundtracks for the hit Disney shows "Hannah Montana" and “High School Musical”.
He has also composed music for several TV series, among which are entire seasons of the World Poker Tour.

Sello is particularly well-known for his work on the guitar, where he is recognized for his creative use of effects and guitar synth, as well as his ability to seamlessly blend various musical genres into his playing. In addition to his music work, he has also directed and produced experimental movies, showcasing his creativity and vision in the visual arts.
