The Jefferson Airplane through many different iterations and permutations made great music. But the classic Airplane lineup of Marty Balin, Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and Spencer Dryden were arguably the band that defined the San Francisco Sound in the latter half of the Sixties. This tape is one of six we have which were recorded during the band's six night stand at the Hungry i that captures them at the height of their awesome talent. Enjoy this one and more to come!
