But here’s the catch: So when He knows you are ready, the wait is over. We know the feeling all too well. A dream seeds itself deep inside, and you see the vision crystal clear—a powerful calling, a life meant for more. Yet, why aren’t all the pieces falling into place immediately? Why is the path littered with delays, detours, and moments where it feels like you’re stuck rather than sprinting toward your destiny? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the .    The struggle isn’t about faith or desire. It’s the trap of running ahead of God. Scripture puts it plainly in Ecclesiastes 3:1 (ESV):&nbsp;“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”&nbsp;When you rush, thinking you can cut the corners God has set, the natural consequence is a slowdown. It’s like trying to sprint a marathon—it burns you out, and the finish line remains just out of reach. Consider the story of Joseph in Genesis 37-50. Joseph had big dreams, visions given to him by God, but his journey wasn’t an instant triumph. He was sold into slavery, falsely accused, imprisoned—far from the throne he was destined to occupy. Yet, God’s perfect timing was at work behind the scenes. Joseph’s “wait” was necessary preparation. When his time came, he walked out of prison not as a broken man, but as Egypt’s second-in-command, ready to save nations during famine. Does that sound like wasted time? Hardly. Joseph’s years of waiting were a training ground—an essential chapter before the “now” arrived. You might feel that your progress is a loop: one step forward, two steps back. But look deeper. Remember 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV):&nbsp;“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”&nbsp;The starting point today isn’t the same as it was when you first heard your calling. You’re stronger, wiser, and more equipped—though you might not see it yet. The wait isn’t a punishment; it’s God’s refining fire. And when the wait is over, make no mistake—it is&nbsp;time. Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NIV) warns:&nbsp;“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” When the moment comes, don’t hesitate. Move forward with faith, trusting that God knew exactly when you’d be ready. The K.I.S.S. ~ The wait is over!   It’s your time to create your now. Maybe you’re wondering how to know when the waiting season ends. Watch for the doors God opens—sometimes unexpectedly—and the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). When God’s timing is right, the path seems to open with clarity. The prophet Isaiah encouraged:&nbsp;“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”&nbsp;(Isaiah 43:18-19, NIV). That’s your cue. The wait has ended. The new thing God is doing is breaking through. Your next move? Step boldly into your calling. The wait isn’t wasted; it’s your foundation. Your story isn’t stuck, it’s in preparation. Now it’s time to run—not ahead of God—but alongside Him with confidence. Remember the wisdom in Psalm 37:23-24 (ESV):&nbsp;“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.”&nbsp;God is holding your hand, steadying you through every challenge, every delay. In a world obsessed with metrics, likes, followers, promotions, or dollar signs, it’s easy to get trapped measuring your worth by numbers you don’t control. But here’s the truth no one tells you loud enough: The score does not matter; the win does. What’s the difference?&nbsp; Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the .    The score is the snapshot of progress, often shallow and fleeting—the social proof, the paycheck, the applause. The win is the deep-rooted success that comes from showing up, breaking your limits, and moving forward even when the scoreboard reads zero. It’s your transformation lived out, not just counted. At some point, you face a choice: will you let setbacks and scores define you, or will you respond deliberately to build the life you crave? Because if you don’t steer that ship, habit takes over—and your habits are often the invisible blockers holding you back from everything you want. Forget the numbers. Do what it takes to win. The K.I.S.S. ~ Do what it takes to win!   Did you watch the NFL game on Sunday night with the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills? Sixteen points were put on the board in 4 minutes!! Crazy? YES!!&nbsp; If you weren't one who watched the game and someone just told you who won, it wouldn't matter. But if you watched the game only to see that the Ravens were winning until these sixteen points were made in 4 minutes, you would be amazed at the final score, 40 to 41. The Buffalo Bills won!! Here are three powerful moves to stop focusing on the score and start winning every single day.   1. Shift Your Mindset: Prioritize Progress Over Perfection Winning starts in the mind. When you’re obsessed with the “score,” you’re chasing perfection or external validation. Instead, pivot to valuing consistent progress—even if it looks messy or feels slow. What this looks like: Imagine a woman entrepreneur launching her first online coaching program. The number of sign-ups—or lack thereof on launch day—might sting. But if she measures success only by immediate sales, she’s dead in the water. Instead, she celebrates every lesson learned, every connection made, every imperfect new step. She invests in refining her offer, keeps creating, and follows up with prospects. Over time, that relentless progress builds a business, even if the "score" doesn’t reflect it at first. This mindset frees you to do the work without being shackled to instant results. It’s the discomfort of a small daily win that stacks up into something unstoppable.  2. Build Grit: Do the Hard Work Nobody Sees Nobody ever wins by skipping the grind. If you want your dream, you need to commit to the unseen, unspectacular hard work that builds muscle, skill, and resilience. Real-life example: Consider a woman training for a marathon while juggling a full-time job and parenting. She could look at her slow pace or missed runs as a “score” failure. But true winning is in the decision to run the next mile no matter what fatigue or doubt tells her. It’s in the quiet mornings she sacrifices, the sore muscles she pushes through, and the commitment to her why—even when no one’s watching. Grit means you stop waiting for everything to be perfect and start doing the hard stuff anyway. That’s what creates breakthroughs.  3. Let Go of Comparison: Own Your Unique Journey When you’re hooked on the scoreboard, you’re playing someone else’s game. Social media intensifies this trap, teasing you with everyone else’s highlight reels. But winning means owning that you are on your own path with your own terrain, speed, and wins. Example: A woman climbing the corporate ladder might see peers getting promoted faster or praised louder. She can waste energy feeling behind or “not enough” — or she can double down on her distinct strengths, build relationships that matter, and stretch in ways aligned with her values—even if it looks slower or less flashy. Starting roughly in your 30s, your body starts losing muscle mass every year. This isn’t a cosmetic problem—it’s a quality of life issue. Less muscle means lower strength, reduced mobility, slower metabolism, and a higher risk of injury and chronic illness. Muscle isn’t optional; it’s essential if you want to keep living actively and fiercely. All it takes is&nbsp;just commitment and the right moves. So, how do you build muscle? And how do you do it right, especially if fat is more of your story right now? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the .    The Core: Muscle Comes From Protein and Stimulus Muscle growth relies on two things—breaking down muscle fibers through resistance training and feeding those fibers the right nutrients to repair and grow stronger. Protein is your raw material. Without enough protein, your efforts at the gym or with bodyweight moves won’t yield results. What Nutrition Builds Muscle? Nothing magical here—it’s about enough quality protein, combined with balanced carbs and fats.  Protein:&nbsp;Aim for about 1.2 to 2.0 grams per kilogram of body weight daily, depending on your training intensity. Sources like lean meats, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, and protein powders work. Carbs:&nbsp;Don’t fear carbs—they fuel your workouts and recovery. Think whole grains, fruits, and veggies. Fats:&nbsp;Healthy fats support hormones that regulate muscle growth—avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil.  Fat Loss and Muscle Gain: How Do You Shift the Ratio? First, fat does not directly turn into muscle. That’s science fiction. What actually happens is you lose fat and gain muscle separately. The key principle is body recomposition:  Caloric balance:&nbsp;To lose fat, you need a slight calorie deficit. But to gain muscle, you need enough nutrients. The trick is cycling your calories and macros strategically. Training:&nbsp;Resistance training is your fat-burning, muscle-building engine. Patience: Fat loss and muscle gain happen on different timelines. Focus on consistency over quick fixes.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Commit and move!   What are you doing now? In order to make a change, you need to know where you are starting from. All too often, we get stuck in the outcome and forget the importance of knowing what is and what is not!  Where to Start? The 3 Focus Areas That Actually Move the Needle   Move with Purpose Build muscle by engaging in resistance training 3–4 times a week. It doesn’t require a gym membership; bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, or weights at home work fine. Focus on compound movements that hit multiple muscle groups—think squats, push-ups, rows, and deadlifts.   Eat Enough Protein, Regularly Make protein your main priority at every meal. Don’t just “eat clean”—eat smart. Spread your protein intake throughout the day to fuel muscle repair and growth.   Track Progress, Adjust, Repeat Don’t guess. Track your training, nutrition, and body changes. If you’re not gaining strength and muscle or losing fat, you need to adjust your meals, workouts, or recovery. Consistency and feedback beats motivation every time.    Bottom line: Muscle loss isn’t inevitable—it’s a choice you get to refuse. Build strength, fuel your body, and reclaim your quality of life. As parents, it's hard to know if what we are saying is sticking. Sometimes, we talk in circles and nothing seems to change. Whatever you do, don't give up when your words feel small. You know what it's like to talk in circles, replay the same conversations, and wonder if any of it actually lands. Those moments when your words feel small—like they barely ripple the surface—can shake even the most confident parent. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the .    Because that's when it matters most. When your child needs you, it’s not about your mood, your exhaustion, or your doubts. It’s about showing up—steady, consistent, and real. The “real thing” isn’t a perfect speech or the right phrase; it’s your presence, your commitment, your refusal to give up. Because if you get tangled in your own guilt and emotions, you risk losing the thread of what matters. This is not the time to adopt the belief that you are not a good parent. But for the most part, moms (and dads) are doing their best, and sometimes that has to be enough. Sometimes, you just have to complement your words. The K.I.S.S. ~ Complement your words!   If you get stuck in your head that you're not good enough as a parent, you are going to sink fast. Instead of wondering what you can't do or what should be done, stick to complementing your words. So, how do you keep the main thing, the main thing, when your words feel like whispers lost in a storm? Here are three no-nonsense moves that work for all ages—from toddlers to adult children.   1.&nbsp;Anchor Your Message in Actions, Not Just Words When kids are little, they may not fully grasp the weight of what you say. A toddler’s world is about feeling safe, seen, and loved—sometimes more than understanding complex instructions. Take Maria, a mom of a 3-year-old who was struggling with bedtime tantrums. Maria found that no matter how many times she told her son it was time to sleep, he kept resisting. So she switched the approach. Instead of talking more, she created a bedtime routine: reading a story, dimming the lights, and playing soft music. The routine spoke louder than words. The message was clear—bedtime means calm and comfort. For teenagers, who often tune out lectures, actions speak volumes, too. A dad named Steve wanted to convey trust and responsibility to his rebellious 16-year-old daughter. Instead of more stern warnings, Steve gave her space to make a few mistakes but stayed consistently available when she needed to talk—no judgment, just listening. Over time, the consistency of his presence landed where words had failed. And what about adult kids? Joanna, whose 25-year-old son struggled with job uncertainties, stopped offering unsolicited advice and simply checked in regularly, sharing her own challenges openly. Her simple act of vulnerability invited real conversations, changing the dynamic from frustration to connection.   2.&nbsp;Refocus on the Feeling You Want to Create When your words feel small, remember the core feeling you want to plant. Is it safety? Understanding? Respect? Patience? Kids pick up on how you make them&nbsp;feel&nbsp;more than the exact words you say. Think of Sarah, who had an 8-year-old who often acted out at school. Instead of piling on “You need to behave,” she shifted to saying, “I’m here to help you figure this out.” It wasn’t a clever phrase, but it changed the tone. Sarah made her son feel supported, not singled out—and that shifted everything. For grown children, it’s about meeting them emotionally where they are. David’s adult daughter was distant after a tough breakup. He stopped trying to fix things through words and instead sent little notes and texts that simply said, “Thinking of you.” Those small gestures made her see he was present without pressure, which slowly reopened their communication.   3.&nbsp;Give Yourself Permission to Be Human and Keep Showing Up The hardest part...
