A song I wrote and recorded in 2024 along with my friends from heavy metal band Holocaust. Me on guitars & vocals, Scott Wallace on drums, Mark McGrath on bass & John Mortimer on guitar also. 

Going to release this under the name of OZMIUM - which was the first heavy metal band I ever had at school.....a long long time ago.

A song inspired by an amazing Friday night out in Atlanta, GA 1993 - I'd just arrived from Edinburgh, Scotland to stay with an old girlfriend of mine who was out for the night, when I got a call from a friend of hers called Les, asking if I wanted to go out - it was around 10pm. I was like "Yeah" but, as this was back in the days before mobile phones, we had to give each other details of what we looked like so we'd recognise each other. I got to the Highlander pub in Midtown an hour later, and the pub was jam packed. I thought there was no chance I'd find this guy... however, after managing to get a drink, I turned round and caught the eye of this cool looking dude who instantly shouted "Are you Gogs?" - I said YES and that was that - an instant friendship was made and we had a great night. Just two days later we played 5 songs together at an open mic night at Aunt Sally's bar. This is for you Les!
