Nicolai Højgaard tog sin bedste individuelle placering i næsten halvandet år, da han tog en delt fjerdeplads I Skotland, og som bonus nappede han en af de sidste tre billetter til The Open i denne uge. Det betyder, at hele seks danskere er med på Royal Portrush i denne uge.

Emily Kristine Pedersen tangerede sit bedste major-resultat med en 11. plads i Evian, der blev afgjort med en af de mere vanvittige afslutninger sporten har set.
