Having hosted artists such as Ben Gomori and Jesse Bru, True Romance - as well as being reliable proponents of Disco and House - are also versed in expressing modern interpretations of Jazz and Funk influences. The next release up on Tensnake's label showcases this as Dylan C. Greene & 3kelves make a smooth and sophisticated return. Positioned across the sundered lands of San Francisco and Eindhoven, the duo have released records respectively on AWK Recordings and House Operations and together on the French label Kitsune Musique.

Their output is reliably deep and drenched in class, making use of rich Rhodes chords, syncopated drum work and irresistible vocals and 'Gone Too Late (feat. We Are Neurotic)' rolls these elements into a lusciously groovy single. Filtered synths interact with Rhodes keys while flicking guitar chords dart overhead. The track gently segues through it's chapters while a bubbling bass line steadily develops beneath a soft and summery croon which lands the track bang in the middle of warm festival floors.
