This song is deeply personal to me. It’s about a promise, a shared dream, and a life that was taken too soon. My close friend Jasmin always wanted to become a rockstar, and she believed in me more than I believed in myself. We used to sing together, and she always said, One day, we’ll record an album.

But life had different plans. Jasmin passed away in a tragic accident at just 12 years old. She never got the chance to chase her dream, so now I carry it for both of us.

Every year, on her birthday and the day she left us, I light a candle in her memory. And now, with this song, I keep her voice alive in mine.

Joshua Duerksen, renowned by his DJ name DJ JD, was raised in the Mid-West and California, where his musical tastes were shaped by a diverse range of genres, spanning from Classic Rock and Country to Hip Hop and 90's Dance. He firmly believes that "Good music knows no genre."

Following his graduation from high school, JD enlisted in the United States Navy, dedicating a decade of service to his country. While stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, he had the privilege of meeting several influential DJs who became his mentors, imparting invaluable knowledge about the various aspects of DJing.

In between deployments, JD diligently honed his mixing and performance skills, gaining experience as a Club DJ, Mobile DJ, and Dive Bar DJ. After completing his naval service, he relocated to Idaho and founded a mobile disc jockey entertainment company, specializing in providing exceptional DJ services for weddings, birthday parties, and school dances.

In 2009, JD embarked on a new venture, joining XMiX DJ Music Pool as a video editor. In this role, he skillfully re-edited music videos to match the remixes produced by the talented editors and producers at XMiX, catering to the needs of Video DJs and facilitating seamless music video mixing. During his tenure, JD significantly enhanced his audio editing prowess and mastered the art of creating audio edits and remixes. These creations have been featured in nationally syndicated country mix shows and embraced worldwide, wherever country music finds appreciation.

Nada Samir is a gifted German singer and songwriter hailing from Frankfurt am Main. Born on June 18th, 1996, she has created a unique sound blending elements of pop, indie pop, and R&B soul. Nurturing her passion for music from a young age, she began writing her own songs at the tender age of 13, and by 16, she was sharing her talent by posting cover songs on YouTube. Her music career took off in February 2020, with the release of her debut single "Your Promise." April 2nd, 2021 marked the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, "Heartbroken." And on January 1st, 2023, she has recently dropped her sophomore album "See You Next Life." Her music is an honest reflection of her feelings and experiences, delving into themes of depression and self-discovery.

Videl, Singer and Rapper, Born and raised in Newham, East London with African and Caribbean heritage Videl started singing from the age of 6 always singing & knowing the lyrics to every song. 

Being glued to the TV at a young age trying to imitate the greats such as Usher & Chris Brown, Michael Jackson at the time, Videl would sing & explore songs which had a melody to it. Influences coming from 90s/2000s RNB with some new school Hiphop but also Reggae Dancehall & Afrobeats with his favourite artists being Chris Brown, Angel, Usher, Popcaan and Drake.

Videl would write about breakups without even being in relationships to explore and expand his storytelling abilities from their position. You’ll also hear cultural references and sonics being from African/Caribbean Family, you'll hear a vast range of that incorporated in music with a twist of classic R'n'B & Hip Hop with an updated twist with cultural influence.
Videl is set to state his claim in the UK RnB scene as he emerges with new sounds and vocals which will shift the sound to a new captivating space.
