Thought I met the girl I was gonna marry but then I found I was fucking lost
Just turned 21 and then I had to move her up
Thought this was the start of the beginning but it was the ending
Major cracks showing, showing me...
Emotional abuse and a lack of empathy that left me unseen
And I fucking stuck with it, for way too fucking long
Broke her heart in August
But the damage was done I was already broken and I couldn't fix it
I was in hell no matter how many songs I made it always came back around and back again until...
And in early September she said she was fucking pregnant

I couldn't fucking sleep and I was losing my fucking mind
I was even thinking about taking my own fucking life
I was awake thinking, how could have a kid with someone that fucking broke me and I fucking hate
Four fucking weeks later I sat my parents down with shaky hands and told them "Hey Dad and Mom I'm gonna be a dad, I really don't understand how this happened but I really need your fucking help"
My mom and my sister were fucking crying and then my dad looked to me and said "Son, you really fucked up but we're gonna help you through this, there's no easy way out of this"
Weeks later my Mom and my sister were fighting with me because they didn't agree with my stance in the relationship with my kid
I knew the outcome regardless was gonna make me fucking miserable
Did I really wanna spend 18 years with this bitch and this kid
Fast forward four weeks later I was really 'bout to crack but then I got a call from someone I trust and they said "Listen I know this has been really fucking rough for you but let me fucking tell you right now she's not pregnant so you can calm down"
And as soon as I finished that call on October 27th I broke the fuck down

Certain Dubs for Certain Clubs was built in 2007 and rinsed out on the system at Club Cargo in Hongdae, Seoul — back when I was a resident at Konkrete Jungle Seoul. That club had low ceilings, heavy bass, and zero tolerance for fluff. It was the kind of room where this track belonged.

Built around a haunting vocal sample from Good Will Hunting (1997), this dub pulses with repetition, restraint, and that peculiar intimacy you only find in dark spaces. It’s not flashy — it’s hypnotic. It’s not for every dancefloor — it’s for certain clubs.
