John 10:27

‘My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.’

- You have a Good Shepherd Who loves and cares for you.
- He wants you to enjoy a relationship with Himself.
- He knows you and He knows every struggle and every hope.
- As you listen to His voice and follow Him, He will lead and guide you.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are my Heavenly Father and my Good Shepherd. You know my every need and longing and I choose to follow You. Amen.

Romans 8:34

‘Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus Who died - more than that, Who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.’

- How awesome it is to know that the Lord fights for us, His children.
- The Lord Himself believes in you and wants the best for you.
- Others may try to condemn you, but the Lord is your helper.
- In Him you can enjoy victory and the hope for eternal life.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for all the hope I can have in You. You are my helper and You are the One Who intercedes on my behalf. I therefore have nothing to fear and there is no condemnation, because my life is in You. Amen.

‘I will restore the fortunes of My people, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them.’

- Restoration is part of God’s plan for your life.
- He can restore fortunes, restore health, restore relationships and change things.
- What looks irreparable and beyond hope, He can help you to rebuild.
- He has compassion for you and wants to see things restored and rebuilt.

Prayer: Lord, You are the great Restorer. You can take situations and You can touch and change them. Restore my fortunes, I pray, and help me to rebuild what has been damaged or ruined. Amen.

Psalm 37:23

‘The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.’

- The Lord wants to come and show you the steps you need to take.
- He wants you to be able to step forward with confidence in Him.
- The Lord delights in you and He is interested in every detail of your life.
- Give Him right of way and follow His direction and leading.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You see me as someone ‘good.’ You love me and You care for me, and You want to lead me like a good shepherd leads his sheep. I choose to follow You and walk in the steps that You have planned for me. Amen.

‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, and that Your hand would be with me…’

- The hand of God is a picture of His power, action and presence in our lives.
- It is one of the greatest joys to know that God’s hand is with us.
- From His hand flows comfort, love, reassurance and guidance.
- May you know the reality of His hand in and on your life.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your hand in my life. It is the longing and desire of my heart to experience more of Your presence, more of Your blessing and more of the knowledge that Your hand is with me. Amen.

‘He changes the times and the seasons…’

- Our times and our seasons are safely in the hands of God.
- He knows when to open doors and when to close them for us.
- Seasons and times will change, but God remains the constant in life.
- Trust God in every season and you will experience His peace.

Prayer: Lord, even when I don’t understand the seasons and times I am facing, I will continue to trust in You. You hold my future firmly in Your mighty hands and therefore I can trust You to work out the details. Amen.

‘God raised Him from the dead on the third day and caused Him to be seen.’

- At this special time we remember the great love of our Saviour.
- We remember His death and the price He paid.
- We also remember His resurrection and the hope it gives us.
- May you experience and ‘see’ His presence as a living reality in your life.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for all that You have done for me. You came to pay the price and to remove the burden of sin from my life. As a result I can know what it means to have a personal relationship with You. Amen.

‘The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.’

- You are not alone, the Lord Himself is with you.
- Right now, as you contemplate the future, He is with you.
- He is mighty and nothing is too difficult for Him.
- He is your strong tower and your mighty fortress – run to Him.

Prayer: Lord, how wonderful it is to know that You are my refuge and strength. My life and my future is secure because You are with me and You are strong enough to save and deliver me. Amen.

‘Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.’

- We desperately need God in our lives.
- He makes all the difference and He makes everything worthwhile.
- With Him, all we do has meaning and purpose.
- Without Him, all we do is human effort and does not guarantee anything.

Prayer: Lord, I realise that I need You in my life. I don’t want to do things in my own strength and initiative. I don’t want to waste my time on futile things, but I want to be part of what You are building and watching over. Amen.

‘The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.’

- How great it is to know that the Lord is personally interested in us.
- He Himself has got His eye on you and He is watching over you.
- He does this because He loves and cares for you.
- He knows what you are going through and He is with you right now.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You protect me like shade protects me from the sun. You lift up Your protective arm and You stop the harmful things from coming against me. Thank You for looking after me. Amen.
