turbine 37, A one man army, Jay Scroop takes any stage armed with his complete platoons worth of live production artillary, and takes aim at anyone not moving at his digital helm, he ducks and weaves like a boxer, taking complete control of every tool at his fingertips, swinging and jabbing at his mixing desk, between KO performances on accoustic and electric guitar, v-drums, midi controllers,drum machines, keys and vocal stabs, you would think his hands would be too full to pull off complete live production, yet somehow there's never a beat out of place or a moment without its magic, As seen on many local stages and a few big ones like "Earthdance","Summa Dayze", "Future Music" and "Parklife".

Four of his singles have been released on various electronic music compilations such as WAMI and the Deuce jigsaw 2 album, as well as a multitude of limited edition small run releases and are available Australia wide. Turbine 37 has won and been nominated in many catagories across the PDMA's (Perth Dance Music Awards) and the WAMI's (West Australian Music Industy.

This is Australian original electronic music at its finest written and produced by a guy who has spent most his life in rock bands as guitarist and vocalist. His journey into the electronic realm, came about late in his musical career but the raw grunge background can be heard though all of his beats, breaks and basslines. He spent years writing and playing rock and grunge music while listening to bands like the Prodigy and Freestylers, then finally went about creating his own tunes that would sit comfortably in the company of that genre. What you get is a hard hitting ass shaking good time. With an attitude and intensity that crosses a dance floor with a mosh pit. Lets rock!

Eclectic with many inspirations, we consider ourselves more of an industrial rock trap goth band, but you never know what type of music we will make. We even have some electro-pop sings lol! We are an online-only band created by friends from across the world. Our members live in different countries but manage to create tracks by doing everything separately and combining it to get our sound.
