Bridget Maasland stond dit keer 'In The Spotlight'!

Bridget Maasland heeft op 9 november haar boek 'Hoe word ik vijftig?' uitgebracht. Een symbolische datum, aangezien ze op dezelfde dag haar vijftigste verjaardag vierde. In dit boek onderzoekt de presentatrice hoe ze "de beste versie van zichzelf" kan worden. Uitgeverij 'Volt' noemt het een openhartige zoektocht waarin Bridget reflecteert op diverse aspecten van haar leven en persoonlijke groei.

In het boek behandelt Bridget thema's zoals de invloed van hormonen, het omarmen van ouder worden, het stoppen met alcohol en het verwerken van trauma’s. Ook haar besluit om haar borstimplantaten te verwijderen komt aan bod. Bridget vertelde eerder aan 'LINDA'. dat ze inmiddels al ruim twee jaar geen alcohol drinkt en dat dit haar goed afgaat, hoewel ze het soms lastig vindt om tijdens dates de drank te laten staan.

Bridget heeft een veelzijdige carrière opgebouwd. Ze begon als VJ bij TMF en presenteerde later bij BNN. Bij RTL was ze onder meer het gezicht van programma’s als 'Beauty & de Nerd, Wie is de reisleider?' en 'RTL Boulevard'. Sinds 2022 is ze ook te horen als sidekick van Ruud de Wild bij 'De Wild in de Middag' op de radio. Daarnaast lanceerde ze in 2024 'GRAPES', een platform voor vrouwen in de (pre)menopauze dat taboes rond deze levensfase bespreekbaar wil maken.

Met haar nieuwe boek en het platform 'GRAPES' biedt Bridget vrouwen inspiratie en herkenning in het proces van ouder worden, waarbij ze eerlijk en zonder terughoudendheid deelt wat haar op deze weg heeft gevormd. Wat hoopt ze dat vrouwen vooral meenemen uit haar verhaal en het platform? Fabienne de Vries ging er met haar over in gesprek!

Elke uitzending ontvangt GoodLIFE Radio in de studio inspirerende mensen uit de lifestylewereld. Zij staan met hun bedrijf of organisatie een uur lang 'In The Spotlight'! In het radioprogramma gaat het uiteraard over de business, maar vooral ook over de persoonlijke drijfveren en ambities van de hoofdgast. Er wordt teruggeblikt, vooruitgekeken en er worden persoonlijke ervaringen gedeeld. Wat ging er goed en wat zijn de leerpunten?

Dit alles in een één uur durend radioprogramma, met lekkere muziek en onder de enthousiaste (bege)leiding van presentatoren Ron Lemmens, Patricia van Liemt, Fabienne de Vries en Martine Hauwert.
