Durch die Venen von Mathias Gmünder aka MATGE floss schon immer der Beat. Der Bass ist sein Herzschlag, die Melodie seine Seele. Musik ist alles für ihn. Anfängliche Streifzüge durch Hip Hop, Rock und andere Musikrichtungen führten ihn schnell zu elektronischer Musik, für die er so leidenschaftlich brennt. Als der gebürtige Rheintaler 2003 DJ Antoines “Mainstation” ausleiht, macht es Klick: House ist seine erste grosse Liebe, der er bis heute treu geblieben ist.
Mit seinem Umzug 2008 lernte der heute 33-Jährige die Club-Szene von Winterthur und Zürich kennen und lieben. Zum Mixen kam er damals über einen befreundeten DJ, der ihm auch seinen ersten Controller schenkte, einen DDJ-T1. Schnell machte Mathias Fortschritte an den Turntables und liess sich von Künstler*innen wie Manon, Kellerkind oder Midas 104 inspirieren. Leidenschaft, Rhythmusgefühl und ein Gespür für das Publikum sind seit jeher seine Begleiter und so begeisterte er schon Tanzwütige im Bellevue in Zürich, im Krempel in Buchs SG, im Green Club oder im Albani.
Doch zum Kornhaus wird er immer eine besondere Beziehung haben. Als Stammgast der ersten Stunde verbindet der Musikliebhaber mit dem Club viel mehr als Musikgenuss vom Allerfeinsten: Für ihn ist das Kornhaus seine Stube, sein Zuhause, gute Atmosphäre und Familie. Und jeder weiss: Zuhause ist es doch am schönsten!

Years and years of bringing his live sets to perfection were finally rewarded when R.EK was called to be one of the resident DJs of the prestigious Hive Club in Zurich, Switzerland. What sets him apart are his memorable live sets, where he’s able to pick up the audience’s mood, and to channel it into his music. The result thereof is the skillful bundling of the crowd’s energy—that is also projected onto his studio recorded tracks. Letting himself being inspired by this energy determines the versatility of R.EK’s music that mesmerizes with vehemence and gripping ease, all at once.

MaJa loves to be in the here and now and to lose herself completely in the music. She strives for a sophisticated balance between master and servant or dark and bright. That's what MaJa's sets are all about: Always searching for that glittering dance moment. She wants to weave soundscapes where the music becomes predictable for the dancers, so that the brain celebrates a high of happiness and in the same way arouse curiosity with moments of surprise - oh yes! MaJa gives dance souls the chance to dangle and in her unique way manages to douse trippy grooves in hypnotic techno with radiant joy. 
MaJa's sets are diverse and tell stories - from ecstasy to introspection, from bright euphoria to dark mystical deepness. MaJa's sets are regularly refreshed with numerous unreleased tracks by the artist beatiq. This deep relationship inspires both of them to reach new heights: more techno is not possible. MaJa plays feminine techno vibes with lots of glitter that get under your skin - oh yes! She is excited to see where the journey will take her. Techno wells run deep.
