De éénentwintigste aflevering van het derde seizoen van Cinepraatjes, de podcast van Cinemaatjes. We hebben weer een nieuw maatje, superfijn en jullie kunnen ons ook steunen op Patreon. De Golden Globes zijn uitgereikt met Oppenheimer als grote winnaar. William heeft een kater, maar we zitten toch weer aan de wijn. Vind je onze podcast leuk, like het dan eens op het platform waarop je ons luistert. Uiteraard is Marino er weer met een sonnet en wij mogen weer raden over welke film het gaat. JP heeft naar aanleiding van vorige podcast ook gekeken naar ‘Saltburn’ en vergelijkt deze, misschien wel terecht, met ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’. Het is echt gebeurd, William heeft zich gewaagd aan Phase 2 van de MCU en maakt zijn eigen top 6 hiervan. JP keek ook nog naar ‘Leave the World Behind’ en ook naar de M. Night Shyamalan film ‘Knock at the Cabin’ waarover hij het kort wil hebben. We trokken een DVD uit de kast, die we beiden nog niet hebben gezien, namelijk de Vlaamse film ‘Aanrijding in Moscou’ met een verschrikkelijk lelijke hoes. In de Special bespreken we weer een jaren 90 film om te zien of deze overeind blijft staan en dit keer is het ‘ The Fugitive’ uit 1993 met Harrison Ford en Tommy Lee Jones. Uiteraard beantwoorden we ook weer vragen van luisteraars over o.a. overschatte en onderschatte regisseurs en films, de grootste film teleurstelling, films die wel goed gebruik maken van een voice-over, films waarnaar we uitkijken in 2024 en of en hoe we een Slasher overleven.

Welcome to Episode #6 of the 4ever in Electric Dreams & CONFESSIONS OF A CURLY MIND co-production - Supple & Lean | A Geekcast.

Following their three-episode mini series delving into the Bad Lip Reading project, 'Axe Assassin Albertson', Imran Mirza from London, UK, and Vahé Vishapakagh Koshayan from Melbourne, Australia, kick-start the first of their next trio of episodes this time revisiting films and shows that made up the MCU's Phases 4 and 5.

As devoted fans of the staggering achievement that was Marvel's Infinity Saga, it would perhaps be fair to say that the ushering in of Marvel's new era has had more than a few bumps in the road.  With criticisms ranging from an over abundance of content to a significant dip in quality to personnel changes, reshoots, etc fan support has started to wane.  But with their objective hats back on, Vahé and Imran engage in a series of broader MCU-based discussions as well as diving in to more focused conversations on the product.  For this episode, the show explores 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'.

As if this bumper-sized episode wasn't enough, Vahé continues the show's rich lineage of providing new and original songs - specific to each episode.  So for this go-round, we're proud to unveil: 'Unguarded', 'Can't, Man' and 'The Incomprehensible Skulk'.
