felis + balaena is a live guitar looping project of Tom Zak. Every track is recorded live, one shot and no overdubs. Only editing done is fade in, fade out and overall volume, nothing else.

It's a guitar thru a bunch of pedals, including loopers, straight to the line inputs of a Zoom H4n Pro.

I have always called these pieces "cat and whale" noises, thus the latin name of the project.
