Initially, this was a road trip theme but I decided to make it a character portrait for my "Shards of Earth" project.  Kris is  a legal expert and crew member on the Vulture God, she's also something of a femme fatale.  
The acoustic guitar is a Takamine and the lead guitar is a Duesenberg Paloma.

A song about a woman that gives me the creeps!

She Gives Me The Creeps

Instrumental track with a strong presence of trumpets (brass), delivering an energetic and dynamic sound.

The creation of Bon Voyage - including composition, instrumentation, mixing, and mastering - took approximately five weeks. The initial idea for the track was developed on the piano. Although the original piano-based version (Melody-10-2025) is fully present in the final production, it sounds completely different from the current result. This is mainly due to the trumpets and the rest of the instrumentation, which significantly transformed the overall character of the piece.

The cover artwork for the track was entirely hand-drawn on paper by Rosi (11 years old), then digitized and lightly refined afterward.

Not get in my own way again - Make you happy to stay again - Want to have more ". . . and next up"s than ends. I want to learn to be me again. I know I used to be good at all this stuff.  To be more "wait and see" again - And find myself space to breathe again - And to know when to know enough's enough. And you're right that I've been leaving it late. This time yesterday, today was called tomorrow. And the calendar turns date after date - I've been feeling some aches and strains -  I think it's probably growing pains. Is there anything else that could explain? I don't think that I have left it too late - Even though yesterday, today was called tomorrow . . . I want to learn to forgive again - So I can take a "why" for an eye. To be more "Well, what if . . . " again - I want to learn how to live again. I want to learn how to give all this a try. I want to learn how to live again.

Badwolf is a hard-rock quartet from Madison, WI founded in 1991.  The current line-up was solidified in 1994 with Wade Otis on vocals, John Richardson on bass, Rob Jolin on drums, and Charles Thomas on guitar.  The band released two full-length albums: "Knock It Down", and "Sleeping Dogs Lie", and are currently at work on their third (as-yet untitled) album which will be release in Spring 2024.

I am Sandbird, a composer living in the south of France. My music is born between sea and sky, carried by Mediterranean winds and waking dreams.

Among the musicians who walk beside me and guide my steps are J.S. Bach, John Williams, Paul Simon, Carlos Jobim, and many others. Their presence is like a hand reaching out, leading me toward melodies yet to be found.

I discover themes on my daughter’s piano, through my guitar, or simply while dreaming. Each note is a meeting, each harmony a breath.

I do not use artificial intelligence to compose — only, at times, to find beautiful images that accompany my music.

On a beach, with eyes wide open to the sky, I take flight like a sandbird. It is there that my music rises: intimate, free, and always searching for light.

This artist likes to mix genres. His influences range from metal, classical, idm to world.

We all have our stories. Here's some of mine. Some are very real and some are more than a wee bit made up.  Here's a selection of my songs I've written and recorded at home over the years.  I aim to mix my broad tastes together to make something worth listening to. From subtle to blatant; from delicate to boisterous; from earworms to experiments. I've been on Soundcloud for several years now and it's been great exploring the work of other artists.  There is so much generosity of spirit on this platform, it's just what you need when most of your music is made solo. 

I started out playing classical and Spanish guitar, then took up flamenco to ease myself away from the confines of musical notation. As a result, Latin rhythms often creep into my music. 

A friend introduced me to steel string and electric guitars just a few years ago and I still find the scope they bring dizzying... but what fun!
