this one came out a long while back, but just posting it now. It's my contribution to, and the opening track of The Discography Lessons' inaugural compilation, Summer Sizzlers. It's called Sax on the Beach, and it's a rework of Madan by Salif Keita - specifically the Martin Solveig version. It's a track that I love and had wanted to do for ages, and I managed to transform it into a laid back chillout track that even made it into the Longe chart on Traxsource! Bloody pleased with how it came out too.

These Guitars Say Sorry is the banner for a diverse range of artists, from UK singer-songwriter These Guitars Say Sorry to classical composer Jeremias Langsämmer along with his ensemble, Icelandic post-rock band Laxá with the Heima Kvartett, ambient artist Siegfried Jünger, and Doom Jazz ensemble The Dark Messiahs. Founded by Jez Stephen, who incepted all the projects, the label has released over 30 albums, crafting a unique sonic identity across genres.

London-based DJ, producer and radio host Even Funkier weaves together Disco, Funk, House, Soul, Boogie, Jazz, Hip Hop and Global delights to create something fresh, irresistibly funky and downright groovy. He plays tunes from across the decades, genres and BPMs, mixing up hidden gems with tried and tested favourites, with a focus on sweet, sweet Disco music brought right up to date for modern dancefloors.

As a DJ he’s taken his trademark rollercoaster genre-fluid sets to locations including Glastonbury, ADE and Westival, playing parties for Midnight Riot, Good Custard, Project Bango, Pineapple Police Horse and DiscNoTheque. And as a producer he’s released on over 20 labels labels including Tropical Disco, Hot Digits, Mango Sounds, The Disco Express, Midnight Riot and TheBasement Discos.

My page was set up to promote music and art that is relatively unpopular, “underground” and/or unknown. Everything I upload is for fun and promotional purposes.
