Kam Pain

Kam started DJing in 1996 with a passion for all things dirty and pounding and hit the midlands party scene a year later. Although a regular at demos, hunt sabs and Reclaim the Streets his love of music superseded all else. He opened a record shop with the help of The Prince's Trust, which became a vital base of operations and allowed him time to produce music on the job. His first track 'Tater Face' was released on Passion Records in 2003 and earned him a regular contract with the label. He immediately struck a chord with the filth heads and to this day has released over fifty productions on vinyl and another handful on MP3. He featured on many labels including his own Easy Skanking Records, Passion Records, Do Not Bend, Nosebleed, Twisted Traxx, Scythe Squadron and many more but more recently 303 Alliance. Kam has headlined events all over the UK and also New Zealand, Poland and Ireland and promoted his own regular event called 'MUSH!' at the Beaverworks, Leeds.
On May 2nd Kam is debuting a brand new live set of techno, both acidic and straight up dirty. "Although I'm using a very simple set up, I'm doing everything I can to keep it as live as possible. All elements of each track are triggered and sequenced live, plus all fx and acid lines are tweaked live on the rotary knobs, you'll see me rockin out live with a 303. I'm keeping a raw element to the set as a slight nod to the live P.A's of the 90s, and I guarantee it'll be fucking raucous."
