There are songs that don’t really “start.”

They just unfold — like a memory you didn’t invite but didn’t stop either.
This solo piano piece is exactly that: a slow breath of something familiar, a quiet echo from a life that once fit perfectly and then didn’t anymore.

I wrote it after a run where the past ambushed me out of nowhere — the way it does when the world is too still, or too loud, or just too honest.
One moment I was just moving forward…
and the next I was back in a village I barely recognize, chasing footsteps that don’t exist anymore.

This track is the sound of remembering someone you don’t talk to anymore, but still hope is doing okay.
Someone who left without drama — just slipped out of your days so softly that the silence became its own kind of ache.

Every note is a frequency between two people who once understood each other without trying…
and now exist like parallel signals that never quite line up, humming in different corners of the same sky.

If you’ve ever thought of someone at the wrong time, in the wrong place, for the wrong reasons —
if you’ve ever felt a name rise in your chest like a ghost tapping on a window —
this piece is for you.

It’s gentle.
It’s tired.
It’s honest.
And it remembers.
