Ubre Blanca - Olympic [Khoinix]

Armed with Satanic Panic era Christian VHS tapes, warning about the dangers of New Age Music, Dungeons and Dragons, and Action Figures, Scream City makes its debut. Panic in Suburban Detroit is a nod to one member's experiences growing up outside of Detroit, in a very typical midwestern suburb. Although, as safe as any suburb can be, irrational fears haunted adults of the 1980s suburbs, from nightmare scenarios about the kidnapping of children from malls, to Dungeons and Dragons causing children to become possessed by the devil. In the 1980s, Satan was everywhere, at least according to many concerned parents and Geraldo Rivera. This track is the first in a series of pieces inspired by that place and moment in time.
