“Temples & Pharmacies” is a thoughtfully curated compilation cover album that reimagines “Temple Pharmacy,” the groundbreaking album released in 2023 by the esteemed artists Luna Flowers and Sabana, both of whom are members of the acclaimed group kayakata. This album brings together 40 cover versions crafted by 18 distinguished figures from Georgia’s electronic music scene, representing a wide range of styles and generations. 

Each track on “Temples & Pharmacies” offers a unique perspective and artistic interpretation, showcasing the dynamic range of styles and influences that define the electronic music landscape in Georgia. From the alternative hip-hop to IDM to Ambient, these reinterpretations span multiple generations and musical tastes, highlighting the versatility and creativity within the local music community. 

The featured artists in alphabetical order are: Anushka Chkheidze, Faeywa, Giorgi Gigashvili & Nikala, Gogi Dzodzuashvili, HVL, kordz, Koridze, Lucky Fled the Scene, Misho Urushadze, Natalie Beridze, Nikakoi, Progenol, Saphileaum, sTia, Tazo Meipariani, Tbili orgia, and Zesknel. 

Each artist brings their own distinct flair to the project, that both honors and redefines the original work.

With releases on Technicolour, WTN?, Peder Mannerfelt, and K7!, plus remixes for Houndstooth, Domino, Ninja Tune, DFA, Phantasy, and 2DIY4, her work has reached DC10, Berghain, and festivals from Mutek Canada to Dark MOFO. Recent highlights include sets at London’s Tate Modern and BICEP CURATES, cementing her place at the forefront of electronic experimentation.
