Spanish producer Hor-G joins the label with “El Guerrero”, a showcase of his skill in the realm of broken rhythms and sonic experimentation.

After releasing several works rooted in a more techno-oriented line, Hor-G now delves into his less orthodox ideas, displaying a sharp talent for hybridizing styles. Electro, halftime, and acid influences merge to create a piece rich in texture, distortion, and energy, moving fluidly between 145 and 185 bpm.

As the artist himself puts it: “El Guerrero” is far more than a demo — it’s a statement of intent from the ever-restless HOR-G.

Bristolian artist Minosaur meets us with a fusion of his epic with LeTo’s solid sound. They created a breaky tune with high energy leads instead of MCs. This collaboration ignites this first VA to a take on grimy, free form beats, influenced by the beginnings of dubstep. Still with rhythms that break the rules, Nasty J carries on with an oblique 140 dance that makes the thinking stop and the belly vibrate. Finally, LeTo closes up the EP with a techy halfstep track intended to take the city’s scene sound to a more playful yet rough place.

Oak's 'No Sunrise' assembles nine rediscovered tracks from Oak’s early Microfunk era — works that slipped between releases, vanished with old labels or lived on only in rumours. Most of the material traces back to around 2009, when Oak’s detailed, cinematic approach to drum and bass and forward-thinking electronic music quietly shaped the movement’s foundations. The clarity of his craft still stands out: fine-grained percussion, rich harmonic work and that unmistakable sense of space he carved into everything.

The collection folds in some of Oak’s most whispered-about works: Boxcutter’s rare remix, the alternate Firebird version and the long-mystified title track No Sunrise, known until now only from Commix’s Fabriclive mix. Alongside them sits Untold, written years later, darker than the rest, driven by thick low-end pressure and a murky halfstep groove wrapped in deep, dub-soaked atmosphere.

Paired with Ricky Trickartt’s sketch-led artwork in the spirit of the Lost Dubs series, the collection arrives as extra-limited 10-inch lathe cuts and high-grade RTM cassettes. A long-hidden chapter of Oak’s work finally made visible.
