A brand new mix series aimed at showcasing unique styles and subgenres nestled amongst the broad landscape of electronic dance music. Throughout this series, you will be treated to a tasteful blend of mixing skills and proper tracklist curation provided by the in-house G.R.A crew, as we explore the breadth and depth of what electronic dance music culture has to offer. To kick things off, we have an magnificent exhibition of the halftime style from one of our founding members, Alejo. "Halftime is a subgenre of drum and bass music that combines elements of hip-hop, dubstep, and other electronic music styles. It is characterized by a slower tempo (usually around 85-95 BPM) and a heavy emphasis on bass and drums. The drums are often syncopated and have a more hip-hop feel than traditional drum and bass. Halftime DnB also often incorporates elements of dubstep, such as wobbles and distorted basslines."

Dub Animals’ is a raw, unfiltered LP born from two years of spontaneous creation. It immerses listeners in the shadowy realms of experimental, unhyped deep electronic music—where rhythm meets texture and intuition emerges. An exploration of sound that invites curiosity and introspection.


Bio: 

Sebastian Russell, a French-British electronic music artist, has been making waves in the electronic scene since 2004. With a rich history of creativity and collaboration, he has released numerous remixes for notable artists such as Will Clarke, Born Dirty, Dapayk, Tomoki Tamura, and Mark Henning. His track “You Freak” was even featured on Richie Hawtin’s mix CD for DJ Mag, showcasing his talent to a wider audience.

Between 2004 and 2010, Sebastian was an integral part of the Multi Vitamins collective—a vibrant hub for music, labels, and parties in East London. This unique collective provided a platform for international producers to meet, perform, and experiment with new ideas every Tuesday night. Here, he collaborated with artists like Mark Henning, Italoboys, Argy, Marco Shuttle, Ekkohaus, Gummiz, Arnaud Le Texier and Margaret Digas, fostering a community driven by a shared love for electronic music.

In recent years, Sebastian released the dreamy experimental electronica track “Fog” on Laurent Garnier’s esteemed Cod3qr label. This track has received significant radio play and positive feedback from DJs around the globe, further solidifying his place in the contemporary electronic landscape.

With over 20 EPs to his name and live performances across Europe alongside artists like Bruno Pronsato, Arnaud Le Texier and Matthew Dear during the minimal techno era, Sebastian has established himself as a versatile and innovative artist. He also has experience writing music for advertising and theatre during his 19 years in London.

After exploring various styles of electronic music and taking a brief hiatus, Sebastian is back with renewed energy, diving deep into experimental sounds. Now based in south of France, he continues to push boundaries and redefine what electronic music can be. Keep an ear out for this trailblazer as he embarks on his next sonic adventure.

WOOFAX is a multifaceted force in the electronic music scene. His journey began as the main writer and engineer behind Terravita and Hot Pink Delorean, where he honed his production prowess and stagecraft, quickly establishing himself as a forward-thinking creative mind. Over the years, he has continuously evolved his sound and persona—adopting the Tremourz moniker for a time—delivering chart-topping hits such as “Sexy Party” (with J Rabbit) and its acclaimed Terravita remix. His single “SpoilerAlert,” which dominated the Beatport Glitch Hop charts, garnered further attention through its feature on TBS’s “The Real OG.”

His discography boasts over 30 releases on WOOFAX MUSIC, complemented by notable appearances on acclaimed imprints such as Gravitas Recordings, Circus Records, Dim Mak New Noise, Westwood, 19k, Sleeveless Music, and more. WOOFAX further strengthens his bond with listeners through Patreon, sharing exclusive content, behind-the-scenes insights, and a closer look at his creative process. On a roll as a DJ since 2013, not many have successfully straddled the line of furry DJ, crossed with producer playing nonfur events across the west coast, and steadily spreading across the united states as a junglist faithful. From the eclectic taste in drum & bass subgenres during his sets, casually playing two to three tracks at the same time for double drops, to producing tracks that have landed him support slots for Lil Texas, Evol Intent, State of Mind and Da Tweekaz, MDKai is an uptempo dragon shows no signs of slowing down.

From a hobby bedroom producer to deejaying all over America, MDKai has been finding his production footing since 2014. First asked to contribute to a small group of producers known as US Jump Up Movement by Rawtee on their compilation EP Give Thanks for Bass, the San Francisco Bay Area raised producer has been hosting his own events, enjoying the good vibes and has (in recent days) been hard at work in the studio. With an upcoming EP set for independent release, and even creating the cover art for it, he plans to bring not just forward thinking bass music to the masses, as well as emotional, hard hitting, half-time drum & bass but also psychedelic sounds to any audience that loves all types of music. Never simply just sticking to one style, he can always be expected to catch the listeners and dancers off guard with his unmistakable style.

TOTEM TRAXX is a Japanese indie label derived from the indoor RAVE and launched by DO SHOCK BOOZE in 2010. TOTEM may be a supernatural worship in which each group or person experiences a supernatural relationship with specific music, Mother Nature, flora and fauna, or extraterrestrial civilizations, and wishes to receive special powers and blessings.
Now we embark on a journey to discover new energies yet to be discovered in an encounter of electronic tribal dance, Jungle flavors and DUB, contemporary music.
