This month we are taking up one of the most iconic movie characters of all time - Dr. Hannibal Lecter, aka Hannibal the Cannibal, as we "march" through the various theatrical incarnations. First up is one of the most awarded movies ever made, 1991's "The Silence of the Lambs."

We go forward by going backward - tonight we take up the prequel to "Silence of the Lambs" that was also a remake of a 1986 movie that was about the title novel - 2002's "Red Dragon."

Our fourth movie is a remake of our third - no, strike that, reverse it - today we review the 1986 film "Manhunter" - which was remade in 2002 as last week's selection "Red Dragon" - should be interesting to compare and contrast two movies separated by 16 years and by one of the greatest films ever made in "Silence of the Lambs."

I literally wrote about 75% of this in the shower. I don't remember what sparked it, but it flowed like the water on my my sexy body.  As one who grew up on Hip-Hop, I've come to view lyrics, bars, and storytelling as the pinnacle of the art form. Then, mumble rap came along and none of that mattered. It was all about being catchy. To me, that's absurd, but whatever gets you off. This is just a collection of jokes for fun. I had fun making it, even if I forgot to mumble sometimes. I hope you have fun listening to it and watching the silly images I got AI to create for the video. 

Gaget killed the beat and probably didn't intend for it to be used for a parody song, but I was looking for a beat for my Mumble Rap parody, and it was perfect.

Mumble Rap (A Parody)

Have you ever noticed that 90% of rappers with Young or Lil in their names are just horrible? This is very close to the original version, but I used a Dr. Dre vocal sample. I'm not sure if that will get the video blocked, so I made it a separate video. There are also a few added visual and audio jokes. I don't know why Bing's Copilot insists on giving its rapping shrimp claws. They look like shrimp/lobster hybrids. Mmm...

We are on a feminine rage kick, and Jodie Foster's character, Clarice, totally fits the bill in this film--she's bold, in charge, and a total brave badass (Buffalo Bill would've had another victim if it were one of us).  There are too many iconic performances to count in this classic film.  You need to watch it to understand the full impact it's had on pop culture and the horror genre.
