Can you hear (with Viviana)

Can you hear (with Viviana) is a song that is based on a true story.  If I remember correctly, the story is called "Last Prayer" and it is from the pages of the book "Jesus Freaks" (published by DC Talk and Voice of the Martyrs.  It tells the story of an underground church prayer meeting that is discovered by police (or military with weapons) who tell them to spit on The Bible.  She refuses and is shot in the head.  

I felt like after I read this story that God gave me the lyrics for for "Can you hear?"  
After writing the lyrics, I got chord ideas.  

Then, I bicycled to a music shop, bought a "chord" book to figure out what chords I was playing, and wrote the lyrics and the "bar chords" to arrange the song.  

The result, Can you hear?, became the flagship song for "Out of the Wilderness".  "Can you hear?" and "Remember me" were the two songs we would play when we performed at churches.

A story of some-one meeting the divine after dying, but then also being re-directed onto the right path.

The track is also about faith that things will work therm selves out no mater how hard the struggles has been.

Big up JLY on the beat, kept the name: Stone Heart and then adapted my knowledge and dove into a deeper understanding of the story being the Stone heart passages in the bible and what is represented.

Most of our connections are through the heart, and some of us have closed them to bad things happening I are life times.

It's never too late to melt these stones away and especially with God's help.

I decree and hope this finds the right people to help them through there times of struggle and help mend their broken hearts and find a closer connection to the God Almighty.

I deciphered through the bible about Jesus the sermon on the mount and other parables. I then added other Knowledge which I learned from inner experience and then wrote about what resonated and felt right...
