The Enigma of Kasper Hauser

The Spacecast #11 comes from a rising artist named @LiliHauser. She is a young promoter, DJ and visual artist from the forests around Poznań.

She answered a few questions for us:

1. How did your artist name come about?

It is actually my name and surname :) I think it sounds great and since I am jumping around House music then it was meant to be that I keep Lili Hauser as my artist name as well :)

2. Since when have you been DJing?

I started DJing in the beggining of 2021 

3. Favorite club?

It’s hard to choose. So far I have to say both Sisyphos and Kater Blau equally ☺️

4. Favorite time?

I love playing during the sunset. It’s great moving between sunset and night time and adjusting the mood accordingly. 

5. Favorite color?

I love shades of green, turquoise and earthly colors 

6. Favorite food?

Sushi

7. Favorite planet?

Earth

8. Best experience while DJing?

All my best experiences were centered around jamming live together with musicians. I’ve had an unforgettable  experience at Totem Festival where I got to play with two drummers as well as with the amazing singer Phao Sanato and ESSEX who added some flute sounds. 

Worst experience while DJing?

Didn’t really have many bad experiences. One time I arrived at the venue and found the DJ booth completely unprepared. Cables lying around, DJ equipment and speakers not connected. The staff didn’t know how to connect it and the sound guy was not on place. I decided to connect and prepare the equipment myself. The hospitality was also not great at the place. I appreciate when clubs provide a great and professional  atmosphere. When I organize events I put a strong emphasis on these aspects. It is important for me for the artist to feel great.

One thing I think is a complete crime is that Lara Fabian’s record label didn’t push her music or videos in the states because they didn’t want to hurt the record sales of Celine Dion. I have played various version of Adagio in my life and when I discovered the amazing cellist Hauser on YouTube and he had Lara accompanying him I was like who is this??

When I found Lara oen version I was utterly speechless and fell in love with her voice. I plugged my guitar in and played along with her and after doing this several times I just wanted to share it to show my appreciation for her amazing talent and nothing more. It would be an amazing honor to have the chance to meet her and possibly record with Lara.
