Axis Records newest album comes from Hemssi. 'Primitive Atom' presents the theme of the Big Bang Theory,  if we reverse the trajectory of all these galaxies, and we look at where they were in the past, we obtain a convergence, at a single point,  an initial state of the universe that we described as "the theory of the primitive atom".

On "Galaxy Formation Era" gravity amplifies the irregularities of primordial gas pockets and becomes more dense as the universe expands. Small dense clouds begin to collapse under their own gravity and create the first stars. Larger stars burn out and explode creating subsequent generations of stars. Meanwhile large volumes of matter collapse to form galaxies and gravity pulls galaxies together creating clusters and superclusters.

Title track Cuflokt kicks off with buoyant energy and proper hypnotic vibes. Cerbère has a darker, more direct, tone as driving percussion backs slowly building atmospheres and gentle synths hooks. Keeping up with the sinister and driving feel, Preytoru balances subtlety with striking dance floor action. Overa closes the EP as Elyas & Hemissi once more delve into hypnotic yet melodic territory with the track, this time with more pace added in for good effect.

The new release Structural is supplied by French artist Hemissi who is breaking through to high notoriety having already released his music on labels like Jeff Mills’ Axis, Slam’s Soma, Ben Sims’ Symbolism, Bas Mooy’s Mord to name only a few.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Myster” with a stunning vibe instilled. The melancholic hook is dreamy and beautiful, creating an enchanting slice of grooving techno together with an analogue rawness focused on the dance floor.

Soma’s Collective Process VA’s reaches Vol. 6 and once again delivers on heavy, rising Techno talent. The monster 6 track release, courtesy of Rudosa, Dave Wincent, X-Tension, Truant.J, Hemissi & Unperson has a diverse mix of styles and has each artist at the top of their game.

UK based, man of many talents, Rudosa, opens the EP with Consumed. A no-nonsense dance floor terror designed for that warehouse, peak time moment. Dave Wincent returns to Soma once again with his deep and trippy sound on Radar II. Another familiar face drops in as German hard techno maestro, X-Tension, drops the rave infected, industrial weapon Schwarmblut. Truant.J makes his Soma debut with the dark and atmospheric Shape of The Morning. Hitting the deeper side of things, Hemmisi once again shines with the minimalistic Sextuple. Closing out the latest Collective Process is the shadowy Unperson with the mysterious figure cutting a fast paced yet emotive piece on Marchand Du Sel.

When techno is on your DNA you never need additional translation, this is the
case with Hugo Rolan, hailing from the north of Spain, more precisely Asturias,
he has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his teenage years,
and now he's a well seasoned forty something adult.
He’s been primarily a dj for two decades, staying hidden in the local
underground scene while working on a standard dayjob. In his spare time he’s
been learning production skills, diving deep inside music creation software and
hardware, training hard and silently until he felt the moment of going public.
The waiting has been worth it, and in 2022 his first solo work has been
published in one of the most renowned techno labels around, Warm Up
Recordings, curated by Oscar Mulero, a very interesting debut album full of
techno.
The second reference of his discography is published on one of the most
important labels in the world, Axis Records, owned by Jeff Mills. A work that
brings us closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where he is headed,
their sound is routed.

He is currently a resident of the Lanna Club, where we can find him in the
programming of this club.
A real example of a real techno lover living in the real world, loving music slowly
and carefully until the right moment puts him on the desired spot.

Cuando el techno está en tu ADN no necesitas traducción adicional para
entenderlo, este es el caso de Hugo Rolan, oriundo del norte de España, más
precisamente de Asturias, ha estado expuesto al techno y los sonidos futuristas
desde su adolescencia, y ahora en su madurez podemos afirmar que domina el
lenguaje a la perfección.
Ha sido principalmente DJ durante dos décadas, permaneciendo bajo el radar
en la escena underground local mientras desarrollaba un trabajo diario
convencional. En su tiempo libre, ha estado aprendiendo habilidades de
producción, profundizando en el software y hardware de creación musical,
entrenando duro y en silencio hasta que ha sentido el momento de hacer
público su trabajo.
La espera ha valido la pena, y en 2022 su primer trabajo ha sido publicado en
uno de los sellos de techo más reconocidos del momento, Warm Up
Recordings, gestionado por Oscar Mulero, un álbum de debut muy interesante
y lleno de techno.
La segunda referencia de su discografía se publica en uno de los sellos más
importantes a nivel mundial, nada más y nada menos que el sello Axis
Records propiedad de Jeff Mills, un trabajo que nos hace acercarnos a su
creatividad y nos da una idea de hacia dónde se encaminan su sonido.
Actualmente es residente del Lanna Club, donde le podemos encontrar en la
programación mensual de este club.
Un ejemplo de un verdadero amante del techno que vive en el mundo real,
amando la música cuidadosamente hasta que el momento adecuado lo coloca
en el lugar deseado.
