This is the third revised and re-mixed version of the first track I made that heavily utilizes a sample. That sample was taken from a song made by Herb Alpert. His stellar hit 1980 off his album Rise. The beat is in its experimental stage, but I had a goal in mind, and that goal was to make you break your neck from banging your head so hard because this beat is fire. I plan to continue and modify the file and create a better version in the future.

For this song I was trying to write something with some 70’s sounding wah-wah guitar and originally wanted some dance/disco feel to the track. I ended up adding a brass section when I needed a ‘hook’ for the song. This reminded me a quite a bit of those Herb Alpert records from the 60’s which I hope explains the title. The result ended up a lot less disco but I hope makes for an interesting listen perhaps!
