I recently got ahold of 'Chroma'. It's a VST plugin that is like autotune on steroids and works are basically every kind of signal you slot through it. As much as I like color bass and it's sonic aesthetics, I couldn't help but feel rather empty when producing this... There was so much allure and mystery behind this sound and now that I have the "secret sauce" to cook with, and realizing how easy it is to make stuff like this with it, a lot of that magic is now gone... I also recently finished reading the "Air Gear" manga which inspired the character on the cover art. That thing is an exhausting read in several ways...
