La lente agonie de ce pan essentiel du quotidien des Français et de notre économie, risque d’avoir des conséquences sociales et territoriales très néfastes.

C’est pour tenter de désamorcer cette grande crise qui couve que l’Institut Sapiens, avec le soutien institutionnel de Birdim, à travers son observatoire immobilier et forte de ses travaux dans le domaine, a voulu organiser un débat rassemblant experts et acteurs du secteur, pour apporter des solutions concrètes et opérationnelles à ce problème majeur.

Wandering around concrete, industrial ruins. The landscape leaves us speechless. We imagine bodies diving into an ocean of residues. Alone atop a lighthouse, watching and listening to interferences oscillating upon the asphalt, we reflect about our pasts, our futures… Our complex story begins in winter 1974, an intense adventure with M.

“Ruines, Béton & Industrie” follows the 30-years-old friendship between Guillaume and Andrew. They met in Grenoble, the French techno city, home of The Hacker, Kittin and Etant Donnés. They also discovered rave culture together. It took almost 20 years before they recorded their first song. Between reality and the digital realm, they started to record, compose, write and exchange what would become this LP around 2020.

Bordeaux-based, Guillaume works as an artist plastician and sound performer. He is known for his project The Garçon and performs under the moniker Po.Go.
Berlin-based, Andrew spends most of his time there and in his studio in Bretagne, France. He is part of the electronic Disco band called Acid Washed and has collaborated with Patti Smith and Jean Michel Jarre.

Andrew and Guillaume incessantly travelled back-and-forth between Berlin and Bordeaux, communicating via email, to create this record. LPS founder Assaf, first encountered Andrew in the local Berlin scene and was astonished by his eclectic variety of electronic music; the type of art that fits the label like a glove. Beyond their sonic adventures, the duo inspired Assaf to rekindle his ‘not so hands-on’ virtues and express visual reverence, creating the album’s artwork.

PREMIERE: H.L.M. - Aphone [Le Petit Signal]

H.L.M. (Haute Lévitation Mutée) is a duo of lifelong friends whose 30-year journey through Rave culture has profoundly influenced their sonority. Their strong bond and shared experiences have resulted in a distinctive sound that seamlessly blends experimental, electronic, and ambient elements. This close partnership is reflected in the rich, immersive textures, and hypnotic rhythms they have meticulously crafted over the years, working between Bordeaux and Berlin.

Their latest LP, released on the Berlin-based label Le Petit Signal, invites listeners into a post-industrial soundscape. The album, titled "Ruines, Béton & Industrie," creates an atmosphere of concrete and fleeting moments, capturing the essence of a cityscape in transformation. The music bridges the physical and digital realms, offering a deeply resonant experience.

Premiered here, "Asphalt" captures the essence of H.L.M.'s unique auditory environment. It draws the listener into a world of rich textures and hypnotic rhythms, evoking a visceral sense of the post-industrial landscape. A Allauch, ville de 22 000 habitants aux portes de Marseille et de ses grands ensembles, le taux de logements sociaux est seulement de 7,5%, très loin des 25% fixés par la loi SRU. 
Le maire LR préfère payer l'amende, et lance même une pétition contre un arrêté du préfet visant à accélérer la construction de logements sur une parcelle de la commune. 
Allauch a des airs de village, perché sur sa colline.
Et les habitants rencontrés sont aussi opposés à la construction de logements.
