Luke McD studied music from his early days of secondary school playing trumpet in up to 6 bands each week before he was even allowed a rider. Later in life as the party took over, his focus turned to dance music and Djing became his passion. His early gigs placed him as promoter, booker, publicist and Dj, giving him a total understanding of music, people, context and contacts. Luke has been musical director, booker and resident of many of Melbourne’s best venues and events for over 20years. A focus on the right sound for the right time in the right venue has always been his forte whether he is behind the decks or behind the desk.
 
Around 2007 Luke teamed up with Melbourne producer Ehsan Gelsi to launch Smash Bang digital record label, taking the sound of his piers to the world. Smash Bang is still distributing through Beatport. www.smashbangrecords.com thanks to a passionate group of locals.
            
Luke McD took a hiatus a few years back to focus on family and friends but todays hectic world situation bought Luke back with full appreciation of the art and fun of playing to an audience. Luke’s music moves through house, techno, disco and all things in between. With respect to the audience and a common McD twist through every set, expect to hear something different when you tune in to this man

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.

Frank Nau, known by his moniker Le Fronk, is a Venice, California-based DJ whose passion for electronic music began in 2001 at Portland's iconic 2nd Avenue Record store. Discovering Basement Jaxx's EP3 and Remedy ignited a love for unique and dynamic sounds that was further fueled by BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix sessions and performances from legends like Pete Tong, Claptone, and Dennis Ferrer. These early influences shaped Le Fronk’s unique style and his ability to craft sets that seamlessly blend nostalgia and modern sounds.

From introducing electronic music to the party scene at his alma mater in Oregon to captivating audiences across Los Angeles’ vibrant music scene, playing festivals like Elements Festival, AhaBaja in Mexico, and Venice, CA popup parties, Le Fronk’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Sharing stages with heavyweights such as Deadmau5, Claude Von Stroke, Ardalan, Black Coffee, LP Giobbi, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Yolanda Be Cool, Rinzen, and Patricio, his genre-defying sets span soulful house, minimal grooves, and deep tech energy. His goal is to unite people through an unforgettable experience, seeking music that blurs genre lines while always keeping the crowd grooving.

Tilt Shift endeavour to promote an environment that feels safe and welcoming, somewhere which you don’t have to wrestle with the struggles of the day.
