Deepimpression 17:  Skiz - Bright Disc

I was browsing through my music libraries looking for some cool tunes that I haven't listened to in a while, and decided to play a set combining multiple different styles. Here is an experimental take on the electronic music mixing combining a wide variety of genres ranging from old school classic EDM and Bigroom sounds of 2010's to modern melodic progressive techno vibes. Hope you enjoy it!

Last piece here, we present you with 4 house tracks, designed to give spice to the dancefloor, with some progressive and trance elements. 2 tracks from brazilians, one from Guterres, our gold boy resident, another from a new comer in the label, Truecall. Other 2 tracks are from UK and Georgia. Hannd, which already released a great ep with us and the debut of Yamoc. Now we close this VA with 16 tracks. Great to have in your cases.

So this happened… We’re still speechless from what went down at Nation of Gondwana festival! And we are incredibly thankful for this opportunity. It was so much fun taking you from day to night mode and play the beautiful Wäldchen stage build by Kollektiv Lost in. We took over a full floor from Baerbel and slowly took the crowd from house to more progressive and trancy spheres. By taking the energy up and down again, with phases of heightened euphoria releasing into more darker and cosmic soundscapes, we aimed to take the listener on a journey through percussive rhythms, hypnotic melodies and heartwarming vocals. We hope you enjoy (re-)listening to it as much as we enjoyed playing this set!

Huge thank you to Nation of Gondwana for the invite, the best artistcare and for organizing a festival that truly stole our heart. We also want to thank Kollektiv Lost in who put their hearts into building the Wäldchen stage. In the early 1980’s I began as a DJing house party’s, local hot spots and night club in and around the metro Detroit area where I soon received the name MixMaster.  It was a grand time Techno music was the new thing and most DJ’s not only play and mixed records, they were creating there on music and tracks to be play and performed.  This lead me to the next phase of music which was production landing me at the Detroit Insitute of what most people know it as (The Disc) where I received my recording engineering certifications 1 & 2.  Working with varies groups i would began to tighten my skills as a Recording Engineer and Producer , Spin’em Studio was born in 1999.
