Ansonica is an Italian deejay based in Berlin.
Obsessed with disco music since she was a kid, thanks
to the influence of her mother she literally grew up with
spaghetti and Italo disco.
She spent several years following closely the club scene
in Italy, working as DJ Host and PR at Ribbon Club
Culture in Central Italy until she moved to Berlin in 2015.
After a long time of being only in the “backstage” she has
decided to start playing and creating her own "colorful"
and authentic music style fully shaped by her taste and
personality mixing Hi-NRG disco with diverse house and
electronic vibes.
She has been playing in Berlin in clubs like Kitkat,
Bulbul, Klunkerkranich, Oxi, Ava Club to name a few with
Disco Bizarre and Toytonics crews.
Her mission is making Disco glamorous and exciting
again and bring the dancers on a fresh, sweaty, fun and
always a “little bit italian” journey.

On a special occasion reaching 100 mixes it is a pleasure to present Kapote and a 3hs megamix to share with all of you.

Kapote aka Mathias Modica, who some might also know from his former label Gomma records, where he produced under the name of Munk, plays a wild mix of funk orientated music when DJing. Lot of percussion, rare disco, but also unexpected hits, new wave and nasty house. And of course he plays lot of Toy Tonics records. It’s always euphoria.

Founded by Damian Hernan A.K.A (On The Reg /EX  Hyperdam) in 2017 with the aim of spread:  House, disco, funk and other underground rhythms around the city of BUENOS AIRES.

Introducing Damián Hernán, also known as ON THE REG: a DJ, producer, and event organizer with over 15 years of experience in the music scene. His eclectic sessions span from Chicago House, Deep, Funk, Disco, Italian Dream House, and more. As the founder of OTR, an event production company in the Buenos Aires underground scene, he's responsible for the renowned OTR PODCAST on SoundCloud, featuring over 175 mixes from international DJs like: TODD TERRY MARK FARINA, PHIL WEEKS, and KAPOTE from Toy Tonics, among others. He has successfully curated event series like MAGIC JOURNEY at Niceto Club and The Shamrock. His productions have been released on labels such as Mole Records, Boite Records, Groovy Riddim, as well as on his own label, On The Reg, available on Bandcamp. With performances at festivals like Lollapalooza and in prestigious clubs like Crobar, Bahrein, Under Club, Avant Garten, El Muelle, JET BsAs, 2GTHR, Afrika, and more.
Damián has taken his sessions to locations across Mexico, Canada, the UK, Russia, Brazil, and the United States.

Having cut his teeth as one of the original resident DJs at the seminal Venus, Nottingham in the early 90’s, Christian went on to play at most major venues across the UK and Europe during the halcyon days. Early in the decade he was named ‘one to watch’ in MixMag, gained pride of place on the Face Magazines’ barometer of “What’s Hot and What’s Not” listed as “…a Balearic DJ who can mix…” and later was named DJ of the Month in i-D Magazine – which in turn led to a coveted place on their World Tour alongside Tony Humphries.

His career blossomed further in the ensuing years and bestowed him not only with the privilege of playing alongside such luminaries (and musical heroes) as David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and Danny Tengalia but also his original inspiration, Graeme Park. By the mid 90’s he established himself as a staple at the legendary Southport Weekenders and secured a monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound. A disco-tinged house sound rapidly became his trademark and was also prominent in his later production work under the Nu Soulboy moniker with remixes and releases coming through such labels as Virgin (VC) Records and Todd Terry’s SoundDesign imprint. More recently his production work has been reinvigorated with two tracks coming out during 2023 and further releases slated for 2024.

To this day, he continues to produce and DJ - remaining an ambassador for “soul-based music to dance to”.
