It's been over two years since I called it quits with my radio show on deadbeat. Hard to believe it's been that long, but a lot has happened in my life. Despite that, and having less time than I used to, I still listen to and think about music constantly.

 I've been fortunate enough to find love, meaning and happiness for the first time in my life, and the opportunity to experience good music how it's meant to be experienced: in the club and in nature, loud enough to speak to your body via vibrations, on speaker stacks that cost as much and take up as much space as a large vehicle.

 Through all of the lows I've experienced, music has always been there to comfort me and lift me up, when nothing else was. I am forever grateful to music, and to the artists who create it & give me a way to express myself that comes easily and naturally. This is a collection of some of the tunes that moved me the most last year, as well as a few I just can't seem to get enough of. 

This is the start of my path forward, creatively and otherwise. No more going back. All of the struggles are worth it. 

Thanks for taking the time to listen if you did. Also if you happen to be in the position to do so, please book me so I can melt faces with the music I've continued to amass over the last 15 years, and share the sounds that I think need to be shared a lot more often. Haus Catz is the DJ/production trio Tailspin, DJ PurRpLeXeD, and Pounces, and together their sound revolves around a wide-ranging palette of house, club, and techno - adding breaks, lo-fi, and leftfield sensibilities. Their debut Club Nip, Vol. 1 EP gained radio support from Baltra and Ouri, as well as Spotify Track IDs charting by Dameeeela, with their follow up Vol. 2 EP receiving advance support from M. Bootyspoon, DJ Plead, Benyayer / Dark Sky, and DJ Psychiatre.

Not only have they hosted multiple residencies around Denver, they throw warehouse parties from time to time and have featured the likes of Villager, Madam X, Hammer, Baltra, lau.ra, 1tbsp, and Kareem Ali. They’ve also supplied support for an array of underground talent, including Leon Vynehall, Ross From Friends, Ahadadream, Barry Can't Swim, and Will Saul. Recently, Haus Catz have been finalizing more original music that encapsulate the sound and spirit of their live performances - moody, groovy, and pspspsychedelic.
