trains. massive, man-made machines, cutting through the countryside towards the concrete jungle. they take me through places i would never see myself. sitting in half-full gondolas, gathering your thoughts while the scenery scrolls past you is pure bliss.

"echoes and suspensions"
urban life, to me, felt overwhelming, but it has its beauties. the evenings slice through noise, making it less pervasive. you get your own small moments of solitude in this concrete-covered habitat. more space, more breathing room, and only then can you stroll.

"took them all for her"
stabbed, crushed, broken. love, once endless, now faded into nothing. she was the one, here to drown the ache in vivid pills. i swallowed not one, but five. this is the final night. the music falls heavy, its weight pressing against my chest. no reason to go on. let my eyes burn, until they turn to ash.

at 15 i thought music was my path, but life took me astray.
after a long hiatus, at 38 I felt the obligation to come back to music, choosing it to be my coping mechanism during the pandemic and lockdown. I realized i could make music, whereas before i just played around, and played covers. I've been putting in the effort to absorb everything i can about music production and music theory in order to develop a sonic identity of my own, something that feels authentic to me, and fresh to my ears. some of the results are here.
when generative AI came along it allowed me to take my quest for an original sound to a very different level.
i know, great tools come with great responsibilites. 
honestly, i just wanna groove.
