I'm somewhat proud of this song, given my amateur skill level. There are some things I would love to have adjusted (maybe add some ear candy in the drop, and/or add some variety to the lead on the second drop since it's the same). However, I felt I tabled this project for a while, and putting it out there for others to listen and give me feedback (and also for future me to provide input) would be much better than adding more days to this song. 

I would instead move on to the next song to refine my skills and master my type of music, rather than spend more days just trying to perfect a song I'm not sure how to perfect at this very moment. I think the song is "good enough" for public release. Overall, this was a fun project! I learned a lot (including bettering my workflow to be more organized and efficient).

Some things I learned:
Learning sound design is a lot easier if you break it down into chunks. For this song, I learned some sound design techniques by adjusting presets I really liked from Serum and reverse-engineered them (such as turning on/off automation, chorus, distortions, etc.).
Also, I am starting to understand how balancing EQs between different sounds can help make a song tighter and fuller-sounding.

Thoughts:
There was not much else other than the above. Again, I got sort of tired mulling over how to add more to the song, and my heart really just wanted to move on to the next project. I had so much fun playing around with this. 

As always, I can adjust the song based on other people's feedback/ my future self's feedback. If you're reading this, just let me know if you want to hear an improved version sooner rather than later. :)

Also, let it be known that I would love my future producer name to be MDKL (pronounced medical). Each letter means something to me, so I'd be proud to have this name.
