The Hamas terrorist organization has already violated the U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal with Israel by failing to give back the bodies of the Israeli hostages they murdered in captivity. At the same time, Hamas terrorists ambushed and killed two Israeli soldiers HY"D on Sunday.  Israel retaliated, but only hours later, said it was re-instituting the ceasefire.  On this week's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that no doubt Hamas will see how far they can push Israel and get away with it without the Jewish state declaring the deal null and void.

Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday lifted the "Special Situation on the Home Front" in southern Israel, after two years since the start of the military operation targeting Hamas.  Nevertheless, on today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that while things seem to be returning to "normal," the war isn't over as long as the enemies of the Jewish People continue to seek our destruction.

Throughout the 18-month siege of El Fasher, capital of Sudan's North Darfur state, international human rights observers had been warning that the city's residents faced a general massacre when it eventually fell to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Yet nothing was done, apart from ineffectual Great Power diplomacy that had zero impact on the ground. Now that the foretold massacre is underway—with hundreds killed, thousands missing, and no end in sight—calls are at last emerging for boycott, divestment and sanctions against the United Arab Emirates, the apparent underwriter of the genocidal RSF. In Episode 302 of the CounterVortex podcast, Bill Weinberg notes the contrast with the situation 20 years ago, when #SaveDarfur was a cause célèbre—and asks what has changed.

Darfur again —a genocide foretold

Israel has received the remains of fallen soldier Lt. Hadar Goldin HY"D, whose body was held by Hamas in Gaza for more than 11 years. Goldin was killed during a ceasefire in the midst of the 2014's "Operation Protective Edge". Hamas is still holding the bodies of three Israelis and one foreign worker.
