We welcome Ben Corner onto Impulsive Records with his debut track 'Feel The Acid'. The track has a dark sinister theme with intriguing melodies creating suspense before entering the breakdown. A blanket of warmth takes over with reverse kick effects complimenting the introduction of a mighty 303 leading towards the the drop where the 303 line take over as the main element of the track. 'Feel the acid'  is inspired by the late 90's and early 2000's sound and we are very happy to have Ben on board bringing his unique style to the label.

FRANKIE 4 FINGERZ - GUEST MIX

A heavyweight debut release from Futurekix accompanied by an acid fuelled remix from Die-Ode.
The original track is an emotive composition right from the intro as it leads blissfully into a short stabby bassline powered by a mighty kick drum which becomes the backbone of the tune. Catchy melodies playout on top of an underlining acid pattern up towards the main breakdown. The breakdown ushers in a moment of calm and a euphoric timbre before gently building and rising into the crescendo which boasts a galloping melody as the show piece.

Die-ode's acid mix is darker straight from the off. A glimpse of the empowering acid line in the intro marks the beginning of a new direction for this track. A big double bass accelerates alongside punchy 303's and tidy percussion up to the breakdown which in similarity with the original starts out blissful and mellow before rising up to a melodic main drop. The final section of the track sees the acid take over as it seamlessly interacts with the outro melodies just as it has across the whole track.

We will be kicking off 2024 in true Free Party Hard Trance style as we welcome DJ Omega to Impulsive Records. 

Omega is influenced heavily by the golden era of UK homegrown FPHT and seamlessly incorporates his own style whilst paying homage to the producers that inspired his creativity.

This track carries itself extremely well with tantalising percussion and an endearing melody progression which is spread across a combination of synths with a prominent 303 throughout.

Emotive melodies extend bountifully throughout the title track 'Bass Evolution' building a sense of euphoria before bringing it home with a clubland style main drop. Its a proper bit of uplifting trace with a powerful kick and bass combo. 

The 2nd track on the EP is called Conscious and Lumonde's style has more room to showcase itself. A cavernous bassline gives the track its identity, its low and cruises throughout the track in harmonious fashion but its the vocal sample that takes pride of place bringing a true authenticity to the track.  

Layered throughout the track is clever percussion, ominous sounding leads and a healthy does of 303 which all combines to compliment the rolling groove.

The breakdown has blends of progressive trance with the big atmospheric pads and subtle lead stabs building to the main drop which throws a few surprises with the bassline. Catchy leads and inspirational vocal samples from Alan Watts string the track together making this the perfect collaboration.
