purgatory: the other side of the ice

To sail once more on better waters,
 the little ship of my imagination lifts its sails,
 leaving behind the cruel sea of Hell.

And I will sing of that second kingdom, 
where the human soul is cleansed, 
and made worthy to ascend to Heaven.

But here, let dead poetry rise again —
 O holy Muses, for I am yours — 
and let Calliope raise her voice just a little,

accompanying my song with that same sound 
 that once struck the poor Magpies so deeply 
they lost all hope of pardon.

The gentle hue of early morning sky
 was breaking through the sapphire of the East,
 and lifting every shadow from the world.

And I turned toward the sea of endless depth, 
and saw the planet that gives love its name

nott.shxm - LUCIFER

Nacht / Brian Phillip- Techno / Tech House DJ/Producer born in Upstate NY.  Nacht is known to dabble in many genres of music yet somehow always finds his way back "home", Back to Techno & , that is. Pushing every limit as well as range of artists while taking you on an unforgettable explosive melodic journey. His most recent endeavor of competing for a 2024 opening DJ set slot at the world renown/ iconic venue, "The Brooklyn Mirage" hoping for a debut at NYC's annual Pride festival, "Planet Pride".  Since then putting him on many listeners radar for the summer of 2024.   Quickly becoming the worlds fan favorite at just over 15k votes on his contest set alone. Votes coming in from as far away as India and Russia. He is currently operating independent. Nacht has many fans excited to see what is to come next for this energetic new edition to the scene. Mid July Nacht announced that he would be ending his summer by competing again for a opening festival DJ slot at, Dream Nation Music Festival in Paris France which is set to take place on October 31 2024. If won, this would potentially launch him towards more of a European fan base to take his career to the next level. Having previously lived in Europe this is something that he is very much looking forward to this coming fall. Cheers!

I'm a Turkish composer who enjoys soundtracks of all kinds. Currently working on the Ancients Awakened Otherworld OST and the Mod of Redemption OST. I hope you enjoy my music!

Contemporary audio relics of a bygone future - these 'audio doodles' are a collaged combination of garageband / freesound / archive.org creative commons and public domain samples - hastily hacked together in response to themes and events at a particular moment. These pieces are an attempt to explore my real job as a design lecturer via audio alternatives to visual media with a hope of seeing a progression of ability and ideas over time. The accompanying images are captured whilst being a pedestrian in this world.

The tracks exist as little collections that are ordered to work together as a grouping of ideas around a theme. Often I upload tracks, a couple at a time, listen to them and edit as i go - so check for updates on anything you hear.
