The current theme as heard on the Manx Report news programme from Summer 2024. Only the sport, weather, and pollen jingles are carried over from ITV's, as the main theme itself now comes from Channel Report from 2009-13.

The news may be farmed off to ITV, but there's still a stubborn shred of independence lurking within.

It’s an overstuffed, overexcited live show with CheapShow doing what CheapShow does best… Comedy chaos and high energy hi-jinks! Comedian, presenter & actor - Eddie Kadi

Maureen Kerr leads Arthur D Little's Media practice and Claire Tavernier is a renowned commentator and advisor on all things media. Oliver is none of these.

Russ Parker is a producer, sound engineer, and sound designer based in Manchester, UK. He began making music in the late 1980s and now produces music for radio, television, and multimedia.
After leaving college, Russ got his first taste of the professional audio industry as a freelance sound engineer in television. Over the years, he has continued to play electric guitar and bass while refining his skills in MIDI programming, sampling, sequencing, and recording. These abilities have led him into composing music for radio and television, where he has secured multiple commissions.
All of Russ’s compositional work and sync music is created using real instruments, recordings, and synthesisers. He primarily works with wavetable and granular synthesis, avoiding sample libraries unless specifically requested. Additionally, he has ventured into mixing audio in Dolby Atmos. Recognising the growing demand for immersive audio, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Sound Engineering with a specialisation in Dolby Atmos.
Russ is a member of the PRS (Performance Rights Society) and the Musicians’ Union.
