This week, DeGama is sharing a recently recorded live set enigmatically titled ‘Ibizarre Selection’. What we have here is two hours of sunset, sunrise, twilight and dusk tinted tunes which immediately transport you to warmer climes and happier times.

Killer Boogie #19 DeGama Ibizarre Selection (2 hour live set)

BlueAzure is the pseudonym of producer Jamie Bridle. Based in the South West of the UK, his music blends elements of dance, chill-out, Balearica and nu-disco, whilst retaining an underlying current of melody.

Signed to labels such as Nang and Real Balearic, his current passion project is the eclectic and non-genre specific music show 'Is This Balearic?'.

He is also one-third of the musical project ‘Editoric’ which started life at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, alongside lifelong friend Tim James and Toronto-based artist and musician Lavinia Maria.

The idea of Black Light Disco became a real thing when a few like-minded DJs and producers came together to put on a night showcasing the very best in disco, house and funk and everything in between. Our ethos is based around a very simple concept: GOOD MUSIC, GOOD TIMES with GOOD PEOPLE. We announced ourselves on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in June 2019 with an all day and night party in Liverpool’s thriving Baltic Triangle area. It was the start of something very special. 

We have a solid core group of musical talent residing in BLD Towers hailing from England, Scotland, Wales, Northen Ireland and Italy -  providing perfectly cooked grooves and juicy basslines. 

The BLD team comprises of Esteban, Goz (Spin City), Pookie Knights, Cole Kutz (Opentempo.fm) De Gama and Fingerman (Hot Digits) – clocking up decades of DJ’ing and dancefloor experience between us. As individuals, the BLD team have been producing consistently high quality sets over the last few years. Now, as a collective, the aim is to make Black Light Disco THE place to promote new music and to bring you the very best in established/up-and-coming artists and producers in the sunlit uplands of sonic pleasure. 

In January 2020, we launched a weekly show on THE biggest house music FM radio station in New York, MyHouseRadio.fm (also available digitally at www.myhouseradio.fm).  The Black Light Disco Show airs every Monday exclusive to MyHouse Radio between 7pm – 9pm GMT (2pm -4pm EST), bringing you the finest in disco, funk and boogie; all delivered by our expert in-house Sonic Consultants (resident DJs) with guest mixes from the hottest producers, DJs and artists out there right now.
