I wrote this in early 2025. It’s about stepping away from the noise of expectations and listening to your inner voice. Inspired by an experience I had camping. Before I went camping, I noticed myself getting excited for the star gazing I was about to do because the stars always shine brighter away from the city lights. I thought maybe, people, away from the expectations of what we 'should' be, away from the 'noise', also shine brighter. I loved the thought that we should be seeking out people who let themselves shine in their own way and encourage us to shine too.
