About the Poem:
Falling within my self-defined sub-genre of 'Anti-Establishment' poetry, this poem reflects the frustration and anger I have been going through. 
It holds personal relation to the struggle I have experienced in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, around the housing crisis, but with the knowledge that what we are experiencing in our city is no different to the crumbling Capitalist playing cards of most Western countries.
