Each month we highlight each of our DJ's Glenn Molloy/Gorgonoize, Soulfinder and Khankra, with a 2 hour set aired every 4th Thursday of the month.

For September and his third show of 2024, it is back to Soulfinder for yet another outstanding 2 hours, packed full of brand new music, unreleased ID's and do check out several specially made edits, from the man himself.

Hailing from Dublin Ireland, Stephen Hogg has had a passion and a love for electronic music from a very young age. Inspired by artists such as Sasha, and other monoliths of progressive house music. Stephen knew it was his destiny to eventually follow in the footsteps of these musical masterminds and carve a niche of his own, as Soulfinder.

Naturally this form was something that his love and passion had evolved itself into, and Soulfinder quickly began to learn the ropes and make a lot of headway in a short time period. before long he had his very first release published on Outside The Box Music (owned and operated by Elke Kleijn). In 2009 he was voted best newcomer as his debut album Wasteland was voted album of the year on Swiss National Radio. That lead him to perform at the legendary Love Festival later the same year.

After many releases hitting the big numbers in various charts, by 2023 Stephen has seen his music released on BlackHole, Spring Tube, Soundteller amongst many other high quality marques.

Soulfinder, with Khankra & Gorgonoize now form Fusion Underground, between them earning many accolades and garnering countless individual and collective projects, in and around the local and international scene. Ste recently headlined two gigs in Belfast, to huge local admiration and fanfare.

Soulfinder has found recent success once more with tracks such as "Frankie" & "Snow Leopard" getting air time from spinners such as Anthony Pappa, Harry Lemon and many more. 

2024 has seen a fresh impetus from Soulfinder, and the rest of FU, looking forward to more exposure on Ireland's clubbing scene.

Exclusive Series on Subcode - September 2024 - Soulfinder

Welcome to Il Modo's Exclusive Series for November 2024. This month we welcome back Shaun Strudwick for his second stint on our platform.  

Shaun has been in love with Progressive house music since the early 1990s. Having taken some time off during the 2000s to raise his family, Shaun has since re-ignited his passion for hypnotic rhythms and enchanting melodies.

In 2016 Shaun began curating his own Deep Progressive radio show called “Quarks & Quaaludes – an Epic House Journey” to showcase the music that he loves: deep melodic progressive vibes that move the mind, body, and soul.

The radio show has provided an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded up and coming artists in the industry - and has featured many top talents who have since gone on to achieve even greater heights.

Shaun's passion & dedication to developing Saturo Sounds Radio as A&R Manager has seen the station go from strength to strength in recent years - with the acquisition of many global artists alongside up and coming DJs & Producers.

Shaun also lends his talents to countless online music platforms, garnering support for both his and Saturo's platforms across the globe.

In this, his second mix for us, Shaun has concocted an extended session that encapsulates everything about his outlook towards electronic music, blending atmospheric breaks, deeper house cuts and energetic progressive floor fillers.

The Exclusive Series ~ Episode 42 ~ Shaun Strudwick

For October and his fourth and final show of 2024, it is back to Khankra for yet another outstanding 2 hours, packed full of brand new music, unreleased ID's, cool classics and a few re-edit's of his own.

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Khankra’s passion for electronic music started at a young age and has continued to evolve with time. Khankra’s roots have always been entwined in hypnotic grooves, rolling basslines and driving melodies.

At 17 he purchased his first set of 1210’s and from there he began forging a name for himself in the Dublin scene, playing at nights across some of the city’s best clubs like The Redbox, The Pod, the Button Factory, Traffic, Mono, The Chocolate Bar.

After somewhat of a hiatus from the scene, in 2014 Khankra had the opportunity to warm up for industry icon, and personal hero, Sasha at The Button Factory.

Following this, Khankra teamed up with the Melodic Residents and handed the headphones over to some other industry legends during this time, including Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Los Soruba, The Drifter and Guy J on a number of memorable occasions.

In late 2019, Khankra teamed up with DJ’s Glenn Molloy, Soulfinder and Ger Bozyk to form Fusion Underground. Since then the group have started the Fusion Underground Mix series, which has had some excellent support across the industry and continues to grow.

Khankra has a number of Production projects in play, adding to his releases already on Compatible Records. We should also expect to see Khankra and some top acts playing at Fusion Underground gigs in the near future!

Exclusive Series on Subcode - January 2025 - Khankra

Hello and welcome to the Exclusive Series (with Subcode) Featuring the skills and talents of Dublin's unique trio of Electronic music artists, Fusion Underground.

Each month we highlight each of our DJ's Glenn Molloy/Gorgonoize, Soulfinder and Khakra, with a 2 hour set aired every 4th Thursday of the month.

For February 2025, it is back to Glenn Molloy, who reaches deep into his own discography this month. Listen in as he gives us an insight into his extensive back catalogue, over 18 tracks all penned and constructed by the man himself.. a feat in itself which is extraordinary.

Glenn Molloy is a Dublin-based DJ/producer specialising in Melodic House and techno (as Gorgonoize). A fan of the scene since as far back as he can remember, sneaking into his brother's room to listen to rave mixtapes as a kid!

To Glenn, the transition from clubbing to DJing occurred fluidly and naturally, and he soon began to work as a resident DJ for a number of city centre venues, gaining warm up gigs for national festivals, and a weekly radio show on TWO of Dublin’s best underground stations over time.

Glenn is now collaborating with fellow Dubliners Soulfinder and Khankra on an events brand called Fusion Underground and is finally realising his ambitions. He releases multi genre music under his two aliases on OLD SQL, Mirabilis, Pro B-Tech, Opilec, Anomaly, Dissident, and last but not least, the world renowned Perfecto Black, whose owner Paul Oakenfold has also been known to drop Glenn's tracks in his radio shows.

Glenn also has a new release on Lonya's renowned Asymetric label, and has had his tracks featured on the label boss's Floating Point sets, as well as support from Djs like Niki Sadeki for Manual music, and several guest mixes on Frisky too. The future is bright, enjoy the mix!

Exclusive Series on Subcode - February 2025 - Glenn Molloy

Welcome to Il Modo's 44th Exclusive Series mix.  This month (April 2025) we are pleased to bring back a previous contributor to our Progcast series ~ Markus Saarlånder. 

Markus Saarländer exemplifies and expands one of the main roles of the DJ: bringing beautiful music to those who love it. He does this not only through his DJ sets, but through his renowned Berlin - Brighton events in Brighton, and most recently with his new label Dino Audio and regular radio shows.

Having played around the UK, Europe, and the beaches of Ibiza, he established a home in Brighton, which led to residencies for Hed Kandi, as well as almost all well-known club venues in the city, boat parties, pop-up events and more.  

Markus is the founder of Berlin-Brighton, a Berlin style underground club night that has been making waves for the last 10 years. With queues down the street and full venues for every party, Berlin has established itself as one Brighton’s most popular underground music events bringing some of the biggest names in electronic music to the city. 

Berlin has enjoyed a successful radio show on Codesouth.FM for the whole of 2016 before moving over to Trickstar Radio in January 2017. In July 2020 the show moved to the popular and much loved station 1BTN. Markus also has a monthly show called Rainbow Frequencies on NYC station Frisky Radio (since 2018), which airs every second Monday of the month at 9pm UK time.

Spending his early DJ years in the North West of England playing Progressive House and House in and around Manchester, Markus extended his portfolio with gigs elsewhere in the UK and Europe, Markus quickly got onto the circuit with a residency for Zoo at Hed Kandi and has now played at every well-known club and bar venue in the city. Markus has been featured in multiple magazines and articles and  numerous guest mixes.

Other highlights have included support at the Arch for Groove Armada, Booka Shade and John 00 Fleming's JOOF Editions shows. In addition, Markus has shared the stage and warmed up for some of the biggest names in the business such as Sasha, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Tiefschwarz, Leftfield, Danny Rampling, Einmusik, Rebekah,Juliet Fox, Dave Seaman, Thomas Schumacher, Emanuel Satie, Jonas Saalbach and many more.

2023 saw the release of Markus’ first release with good friend NOLAN formerly Timo Garcia. The release received the remix treatment from label heads Framewerk who added their own breaks and intro mixes to the EP. The release was featured in John Digweed’s Transition shows amongst many others.

Markus organises and curates a hugely popular guest mix and interview series. As
well as the Events and Radio Shows, Berlin has also collaborated with many artists by delivering a popular Guest Mix Series. The series focuses on letting artists do their thing. 

Artists that Markus has worked with so far include Timo Maas, Thomas
Schumacher, Teenage Mutants, Alex Stein, Dave Seaman, Dilby, Phonique, Transcode, Jonas Saalbach, Beth Lydi, Kellerkind, Daniel Steinberg, Kristin Velvet, AGENT!, Robosonic and many more.

Not only that, in order to showcase local talent he also launched the Brighton
Mixtape Series, which features Brighton artists that are established as well as up and coming.

Dino Audio is Markus's label founded a couple of years ago to add some fun into the music industry by combining great quality music with dinosaurs! The label has had some great releases so far with top support right from the start. Almost all EPs have charted in various Beatport charts and were also featured in many DJ sets from top artists including tracks played at Mixmag the Lab NYC, Burning Man, various other club nights, festivals, guest mixes and radio shows.

The Exclusive Series ~ Episode 44 ~ Markus Saarlånder

Adam Collins is a Birmingham-born DJ who now calls the North West of England home. He is a dedicated student of the Deep, Progressive, Melodic, and Organic House genres, stemming from a passion for music that dates back to his early years. Adam's musical journey began in 1998 when he first delved into the world of DJing. After a hiatus in 2002, it wasn't until 2014, and relocating to Manchester, that he rediscovered his love for the art again.

Having always been musically inclined, Adam's background as a drummer during secondary school undoubtedly influences his penchant for percussive beats.

After moving to Manchester, Adam immersed himself in the thriving Progressive house scene making appearances at various events hosted by UCAP. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns provided him with an opportunity to explore new sonic landscapes. It was during this more relaxed time that he gravitated towards Organic house, an ethereal, globally inspired genre rooted in folk music from around the world. The dreamy instrumentation, balearic vibes, and relaxed percussive elements of organic house captivated Adam, allowing him to craft rich and immersive musical journeys.

In 2023 Adam joined the roster of talented DJs at Organic Deep House Radio—a fledgling station that is rapidly growing its roster and listenership. He now has a home to hone his craft and collaborate with other talented DJs. Adam is excited to contribute to the station's growth and create enchanting musical experiences for the expanding audience.

As his journey as a DJ unfolds, Adam remains committed to sharing his passion with the world. Through his evolving artistic style and dedication to his craft, he strives to create captivating musical experiences that resonate deeply with listeners."

The Exclusive Series ~ Episode 45 ~ Adam Collins

Dia duit gach duine! Yes, greetings from the Emerald Isle, as we welcome you back to our infamous Progcast. Each week, we roam around Planet Progressive on the search for the best and most exclusive DJ sets we can find. 

No travelling is necessary today as we delve into Dublin's rich and extensive clubbing history once more. A fervent supporter of everything we do here, our guest today has done it all and is now back behind the decks garnering more support as he relaunches. Make some noise for Dave Harbourne!

Hailing from Dublins underground scene, Dave is a DJ with decades of experience. 
He bought his first set of decks at just 15, and started playing house parties. He soon became  a regular DJ on Dublin's pirate radio scene that emerged during the  1990s/2000's.

Having grown up immersed in the golden era of '90s  Dublin club culture, Dave developed a deep appreciation for storytelling through music. Whether it’s an organic sunrise set or a late-night slot in a packed venue, Dave brings the same energy to all of his DJ sets. His style has moved towards a more Progressive house sound, but he still finds the time to relive that golden era of the 1990s on a regular basis.

After a 10 year hiatus from the decks, Dave picked up the headphones again in 2020,  and now has a regular slot on Phever radio in Dublin, playing twice monthly on Tuesdays 8-10pm. Dave can be found playing regularly at pop-up gigs in the capital, and around the country too! Follow him on Instagram to catch up with regular gig updates.

Hello and welcome to the Exclusive Series (with Subcode) Featuring the skills and talents of Dublin's unique trio of Electronic music artists, Fusion Underground.

Each month we highlight each of our DJ's Glenn Molloy/Gorgonoize, Soulfinder and Khakra, with a 2 hour set aired every 4th Thursday of the month.

For June 2025, it is back to Glenn Molloy.

Glenn Molloy is a Dublin-based DJ/producer specialising in Melodic House and techno (as Gorgonoize). A fan of the scene since as far back as he can remember, sneaking into his brother's room to listen to rave mixtapes as a kid!

To Glenn, the transition from clubbing to DJing occurred fluidly and naturally, and he soon began to work as a resident DJ for a number of city centre venues, gaining warm up gigs for national festivals, and a weekly radio show on TWO of Dublin’s best underground stations over time.

Glenn is now collaborating with fellow Dubliners Soulfinder and Khankra on an events brand called Fusion Underground and is finally realising his ambitions. He releases multi genre music under his two aliases on OLD SQL, Mirabilis, Pro B-Tech, Opilec, Anomaly, Dissident, and last but not least, the world renowned Perfecto Black, whose owner Paul Oakenfold has also been known to drop Glenn's tracks in his radio shows.

Glenn also has a new release on Lonya's renowned Asymetric label, and has had his tracks featured on the label boss's Floating Point sets, as well as support from Djs like Niki Sadeki for Manual music, and several guest mixes on Frisky too. The future is bright, enjoy the mix!
